The hotel is in a quiet location, but not far from the main through road. There is ample parking for both cars and larger vehicles (a flat bed truck towing a car trailer in our case). The room was clean and comfortable. A mini-bar was provided. The food served in the restaurant is very good in general, but exceptional with regard to the steaks. I had one of the best steaks I have ever had on the second night of my stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and of good quality. There is a guest sauna which my Finnish friend was keen to avail himself of. The staff are friendly, and professional and speak English, for those of us not (yet) fluent in Finnish. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and on our next trip down from Salla to Jalasjärvi, we will be staying at the Hotel Kurikka again.

The early closure of the hotel bar at 8.00pm and the deadline for ordering food in the restaurant at the same time. A 9.00pm cut-off time would have been much better from our perspective.

Rooms very clean and very well kept. Style is like late 1960s or early 1970s. Beds are comfortable just perfectly soft/steady. Good breakfast. Free parking. 2 places with charging for electric cars (at a cost). Good breakfast. Nice staff. Arriving late worked perfectly.

The beds were a little too narrow. The blanket went outside the bed and fell to the floor a few times.

Another very pleasant overnight stay. The hospitality and service provided by our multilingual hostess was excellent. Thank you Susanna. The peppered steak I had last night in the hotel restaurant was absolutely superb again, the best steak I have ever had. Hotelli Kurikka is consistently a class act.

Only that the bar and restaurant close for orders at 20.00.

Reseption closed on Sundays... and the restaurant... and I did not get any instruction how to get in. I had to try many times before the phone number on the door answered.

This hotel is located in a very picturesque part of Kurikka. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good as was dinner.

The room needs black out curtains.

Breakfast was truly good. There was a generous selection to choose from. Also the coffee was good. The breakfast room was large, but it had cosy corners where one could feel comfortable and have ones privacy. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the staff was super friendly!

The room was rather crowded with bulky old furniture. One could not call it elegant by any means. But as I was there only to sleep one night, the room did its job.

Nice place, tasty breakfast, free parking, good price, sauna and swimming pool included to the price.

Good location, afforrdable prices, clean rooms, good food at the lobby restaurant.

Rooms were a bit worn out but for me this is not an issue.
