This was a gathering of family to bid farewell to my parents as we put their ashes into the columbarium in Westlock. I booked 3 rooms, all were clean, beds comfortable, and cosy.The rooms were well appointed, making the stay comfortable and easy. Breakfast was included in the cost and was very good. The dining room was very busy as the hotel was quite full, but the food wasn't short of anything for more than a few minutes to be refreshed. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, we've stayed here before and will again. The staff are friendly, try to be as helpful as possible but sometimes are overwhelmed with the number of people checking in all at once, when they are the only one there, the phone is ringing, and people are wanting to buy from the canteen too! Be patient with them, they are only one person! There's ample parking, the area is clean and well lit. Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza are both within walking distance of the hotel to address your various Hunger cravings, or coffee and donuts. I put in a request for a late check out for one room so that we could have a space to gather after checking out until we went for lunch prior to the Inurnment which they granted, as well as a request for no /lowest scent protocol for a scent sensitivity, and they did their best to accommodate this as well.

As I said I booked 3 rooms, two of which were identical, but the prices were not! The third was a triple queen beds room and cost less than a double Queen room? Aside from that, I have no real concern or complaints.

I had made an error and booked the following Monday rather than the Monday I had arrived at the hotel. Asna was the lady at the front desk, she corrected my error and I didn’t have any wait time to get in that night. She was so pleasant, an absolute joy to talk to and assured me if I needed anything she would be happy to help. I was more than pleased with everything that night and Asna was a most beautiful lady!! I had to leave this review because it’s hard to find good customer service and she went above and beyond 😃

Well, thought out hotel. Quick elevators and they were removed from the rooms to reduce noise. The same goes for the ice machines. Just a nice and thoughtful layout. I liked many of the small touches, such as the towels in the room to wipe up snow melt or dirt. The staff also freshened up the room nightly and even re-stocked my coffee bar, which many hotels forget to do.

Pool was closed one morning during 'open' hours due to maintenance. I was kind of excited about relaxing in the hot tub that morning, but it was due to safety (chemical levels).

Very happy with all aspects of the hotel. We have stayed here before and we will again. I had a special request for a walk in shower and that was provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was the right temperature for a morning swim. Great Breakfast! I loved the main floor location with an outside door and will ask for that in our next booking.

I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn't available. I know things happen so no one's fault. I just like a relaxing soak after traveling. The hotel had hired a carpet company to clean the foyer and they used a strongly scented product and my allergies kicked in. I did advise the front desk and I don't think this will happen again. They have an option to book in online. We did that. I don't know if that was much of a time savings. Still had to access the front desk to, show ID, payment card, and get keys.

Nice being beside Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza. You can easily walk to both within minutes. I appreciated that the door had a deadbolt but also a swinging latch locker at the top of the door. My two hear old toddler can undo deadbolts but luckily can't reach the swinging lock at the top. Beds were comfy with good pillows! Room also had a functional thermostat which was great.

I could hear everything in the hallway. Even people just calmly walking to their room I could hear them quietly chatting on their walk.

Clean property and friendly staff

Our key card never worked in either of our doors and we’re always going to front desk to deal with this. Very frustrating. We booked this hotel for the pool facilities and we were told upon arrival the pool was closed but would be open the next morning and many stories around the hotel as to why the pool was closed. I think they should refund people a portion of their fee for room as facilities weren’t operation . I had 3 rooms and other family had more rooms so this forsure was an inconvenience. And again the construction on a Sunday morning early is unacceptable .

Staff were happy to accommodate us as one of our party was disabled. I believe they may have upgraded us to a more accessible room & allowed us a later checkout as we had a surgery at the local hospital the next day. Much appreciated!

The pool was out of order, however the hotel apparently offered free passes to a local aquatic centre a couple Kms away. Due to the inconvenience we didn’t bother with the passes.

The property was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly.

We booked the hotel because of the pool facilities and half way through the stay and before the rest of the family arrived the pool was closed and heard all kinds of different stories as to why . The only sign on the door was closed for maintenance. Who closes their pool when the hotel is full of guests for maintenance. Also construction going on and hammering going on at 7 am outside our door was not appreciated on a weekend .

I was really impressed with the breakfast, there was lots of variety and something for everyone. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. Just wish there was more coffee in the room. Our only complaint was the TV remote not working properly, but when I mentioned it the next morning, they said it was most likely due to the dongle being pushed back and that they would look into moving it forward again.

The breakfast was great. I really appreciated the variety of breakfast items.

We checked in early but did not go to the room till about 10:30 pm. It was 24 degrees in there and took forever for the A/C to reach a comfortable temperature. It certainly got cooler by the middle of the night and we had wonderful duvets to cover up with.
