This hotel and Staff was exceptional. Although our French is limited they had a young lady at the desk when we checked in, who's name was Elsa who spoke perfect English. The rooms were small but very cozy with an Exceptional bath attached. If you are one with a ton of luggage then this hotel might not be for you. It was located about 50 steps from the train. Elsa recommended places around town to see and things to do. This is a very small town but we walked to two of the three beaches. No taxis that we saw or Urber or Lyft. Be prepared to walk everywhere. There is a new Creperie right across from the church that just opened up which is fabulous. This town is not for those who want to be inactive. Great biking in the area. The hotel even has a couple of bikes, but we did not take advantage of them. The breakfast every morning was fabulous and like I said they were very accommodating. This is a great Historical town between the German Blockhaus Museum and the Salt Flats.

There was nothing that we did not like. I would go back in a minute. I love Batz-Sur-Mer

This is a traditional small French hotel in the small town of Batz Sur Mer . Although the building is old the rooms and bathrooms have been modernised ours was good sized room with a comfortable bed . The owner was very friendly and tried her best to speak English.

The shower head seemed to need descaling as the water spray was painfully sharp. There were ants in the room

Beautiful spacious room at the top of the hotel with Velux windows looking out onto the quiet street at the front. The shower was powerful and everywhere was sparkling clean. The hostess was so friendly and helpful.

It was a little way out of town so I felt a bit excluded but the plus side of that was that it was quiet! Everything else was fine.

Very accessible, well presented, clean and homely for our short stay in the village. There is plenty of parking nearby in the local neighbourhood. The breakfast in the garden with homemaker confituire was divine! The recommendation for Plage Valentin d local restaurants were excellent

The electric trains rumble into the station and if the window is open can be heard but it really wasn’t a big issue

Delightful room and delicious breakfast. Convenient location right next to the train station. Lovely view over the garden. The hostess was lovely and very chatty, even though we don't really know any French

There were some steps in the bathroom. It was fine for me, but some people might find accessibility tricky

Fantastic welcome from Delphine in a lovely local hotel, walking distance to town and beaches. Friendly town with night market and loads of local producers and music. Gorgeous bread at breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.
