Excellent location with secure private parking. Room was spacious. And bathroom well appointed although small step up to it was a trip hazard! Good breakfast buffet with a range of hot and cold, sweet and savoury. Great coffee. Pleasant comfortable lounge with games and large TV screens (we were there during the Olympics). There is a small bar in the reception but we didn’t use it. One good feature was the provision of a glass bottle in the room and a chilled water machine in the restaurant for refilling it at any time.

As others have said the decor is a little tired and the room was rather stuffy as there is no air conditioning although it was possible to open the windows. Staff were generally polite except the receptionist who ignored us to continue a general conversation with others when we explained we needed to check out fast.

The Hotel has a lift to each floor level which is good. The room was very comfortable and the shower room although small had a decent shower cubicle. As I had a room at the front of the Hotel, the view of the river and boats was amazing. The breakfast was very good with a decent range of continental foods. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The hot breakfast was very cool on the day I had some. Other than that I found the place to be very pleasant

People in room above ours with noisy dogs woke us and kept us awake in early hours. Fortunately they only stayed one week. No coffee making facilities in room.

The view from our room was fabulous! The king-sized bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the room had two chairs. The breakfast buffet (which was additional) was extensive. The location was good, right along the water.

Not really anything. I didn’t like the pillows, but I recognize that’s subjective. I was also surprised to be charged for a cup of tea in the evening.

Lovely location on the harbour. Staff super friendly. Nice breakfast. Free car park behind hotel. Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

The window in the cosy room on 5th floor is quite small so the view is only visible when standing in front. And you hear some noice from restaurant in front when open.

The Grand Hotel Benodet is indeed a ‘grand old lady’ and oozes charm. The hotel is in a fabulous location with restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful marina right on the doorstep. The staff were so welcoming and professional. We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the marina and it had some amazing views both in the morning and the evening. I would recommend this ‘grand old lady’ to anyone.

We stayed with our dog, unfortunately our dog fell ill while we were at the hotel. The staff were excellent and assisted with our phone call with the emergency vet. I could not rate them highly enough

The location is fantastic a stone’s throw from the river and marina, a short walk to all amenities.

Bed comfortable Buffet Breakfast good, hot food replenishment could be better.

No in room hot drinks facilities. Have stayed in dozens of hotels and never had this before. Don't want to go to the bar in pyjamas to buy a cuppa.

Exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff who speak several languages and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable king size bed and spacious, modern en suite with fantastic shower. Breakfast had many different choices including regional specialities. The hotel is very near several seafood restaurants and creperies and you can order dinner in the room at a reasonable price. It is in a lovely location near the peaceful river and next to the church. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Benodet.

The room was spacious; breakfast great (even with hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages); parking in the courtyard with direct access to the hotel.

The WIFI was not so good and had frequent failures, at least in my room on the far end of the building. The environment has only few options for meals.
