The location was perfect for us, quiet and still easy to go to the centre of Villeneuve. The daily breakfast prepared just for us two was always perfectly presented and had everything we needed. Celine's personal notes every day was a delightful and touching attention.

The water system for the shower is a bit odd, and although there were instructions we did not understand the countdown process - we still had enough water and time to shower, but I think the explanations might need to be clearer. We did not have the remote for the AC unit, and that would have helped as some nights were very hot at first and then there was no heating for the last 2 nights - the room was still very warm though (we stayed in January, so in the middle of winter).

It was in a quiet area outside of town, which was a 40 minute walk away. The room had a fridge and microwave with a seating area outside the room and a table inside. The bed was comfortable , with a modern bathroom .

There was a timer in the shower , which needed to be pointed out , a good idea for many people, once the first shower had been taken at a maximum 4-5 minutes, you needed a period of 20 minutes before the next shower could be taken.

It was exceptionally clean and bright. The decor of the room was lovely. Everything that could be needed was provided. Being situated on the outskirts of Villeneuve-sur-Lot meant that it was nice and quiet. The breakfast provided was typical French with pastries, bread, yoghurt, tea and coffee.

Can’t think of anything not to like.

It is a lovely place, and the host is very sweet and thoughtful. The facilities are superb. Excellent value for money.

The bedroom is a good size, and the house is nice and well-maintained. However, the decoration feels like that of a doll's house, with too many knick-knacks. I find the furniture neither practical nor comfortable. The focus should be more on comfort rather than decoration.

The shower has a timer: 5 minutes of hot water. When you turn it on, the hot water does not flow instantly. After 4 minutes and 30 seconds, you must wait a minimum of 25 minutes to get more hot water. It is impossible for two people to shower one after the other, as you need to plan at least 1 hour to allow both to shower successfully. Additionally, I have long hair, and 4 minutes and 30 seconds of hot water is not enough to shampoo and apply conditioner. I have never, ever stayed in a place with a timer for hot water that forces you to wait over 20 minutes for more hot water.
