It is a nice location with a great view nearby and direct access to the old town. The restaurant is located directly in the hotel. We did not have time to check it out at dinner time, but we saw many people there. The room is the optimal size, fresh, and very clean. The bathroom is big and well-equipped. Our room has its own big terrace. Even in February, it is green and nice. I believe that during season time, it would be amazing to have some rest or coffee there.

This hotel is in the heart of the attractive Bormes village. The rooms are of good size, well-appointed, and well maintained. Wifi is good. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool with chairs and umbrellas for relaxing. It also has a good restaurant and is close to other eating places. Staff were always approachable, and some spoke adequate English. Ample free public parking is available about 100 metres away.

The view from my room was spectacular. The ambiance of the room was so inviting and the sunshine through the big french windows was beautiful. The sounds of the Christmas songs that played outside in the streets and all the pretty festive lights. And big compliments to the chef from Thialand, as she made a delicious Lamb Shank dinner one night that was to perfection. I also hear from friends that her Thia dishes are fantasic too. Plus on Friday evening they had a nice Brazilian live band singing. My stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. I will be back to Bormes next year. Its a magical medival village with so many pretty streets, something out of a story book. Thank you to the staff, I appreciate their time. The only note is you need a car to get up the steep hill into the medival town. Its very hard to walk uo the hill with suitcases if you are traveling by bus or train. That is the only note. No buses or taxi to get up the hill. But lots of public parking and free when you go by car. Well worth the effort. So please go! Lynda

YOu need a car to get up the steep hill into the medival village, as the bus 886 does not run into the village off season, and no taxi either. But there is plenty of free parking if you come by car. That is no problem. Well worth the effort.

Staff and manager did everything possible to make my stay wonderful

Bormes Les Mimosa was voted one the the prettiest villages in France and the Cigaloo is in the heart of this charming village with spectacular views. However, in winter it is not on any bus line and cabs are very expensive.

This village is so beautiful and this hotel is in a perfect spot. We ate dinner here and you can watch the world go by, lovely view and very nice dinner. Our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has a lovely little pool on the roof which we really needed to cool down in. Staff friendly and helpful. We'd definitely return and recommend.

everything was very good.I would just make a comment about the shower which was good except the shower head needed to be attached to the wall( it was Hand held) to avoid splashing the floor. A wall handle getting into the bath would be a good safety addition.

Location excellent, the owner was very friendly and helpful, the price was great, the pool was lovely and private, the air-conditioning in the room was cool, bed was comfortable, bathroom was beautifully renovated.

No shower curtain or screen in bathroom meant floor became quite wet.

Actually we didn't know the beauty and the importance of the town. The Hostellerie is really close to the city center, and has a big parking nearby. The restaurant is delicious as well as useful for having a drink before dinner. But the swimming pool is what we enjoyed the most, it really made ours days! The room was cleaned and with a retro' furniture, very stylish.

Bathroom was equipped with a bath instead of a shower, but this was really OK and most of all it was totally in tune with the style of the room.

Very well located , friendly place , very good room with terrace. Good atmosphere of an hotel belonging to the village.

A couple of things could have been sorted out in our room at the beginning of the season: net curtain fixed on the glazed outside door, squeaking bathroom door dealt with. Also the kitchen ventilation system is very loud and spoils the back of the hotel (terrace and pool)

Great location, everyonr very hospitable and helpful. The view is superb, parking easy and nearby. A very good stay.
