Clean, simple room. Good proximity to the Maritime Museum in the Chateau de Brest, and a good selection of restaurants and a few Irish bars... Secure covered parking available in the hotel. Great receptionists.

The hotel is in the port area, so don't expect the surrounding area to be lovely - it probably was bombed in WW2. Having said that I didn't feel walking around was a problem during early evening. The Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles are in the same building - the Budget entrance is down the side-street.

Very good breakfast, nearly 100% vegetarian which was great to see, room was perfect, painted in nice colors, very good shower. Staff were friendly and it was a joy to stay at such a modern hotel. Very nice ambiance in communal spaces.

I spent a night here. The room is very simple but clean. It is clearly not a hotel where to stay for a long time but if you have to spend a night in Brest is perfect.

Everything was great apart from the above.

However, I wondered why each room had soundproofing. Then on Friday and Saturday (if you was allocated an odd-numbered room), I was to find out. Two nightclub on the opposite side of the road constantly opened their doors and the noise was horrendous. This went on to around 3am. No chance to have window open!!!
