A slightly quirky but comfortable hotel. Our room was clean, but the bathroom was a little tired. Breakfast selection was good, but not as extensive as other hotels we stopped in during our trip. It is a good base for exploring the south west tip of Brittany.

If our room was representative, the hotel is ready for a bit of a refresh. Our bathroom was a little tired. The mixer tap lever which switches between the shower head and bath was broken off and jammed in the shower position. The shower head was of the hand held type - as there was no shower splash screen is was all too easy to flood the bathroom while showering. The immediate area around the hotel felt a little run-down but we did find a good restaurant in walking distance.

It is perfectly situated for the Douarnanez maritime festival, and has parking on site.

Awkward shower, smoking, doors did not shut properly, very limited views, even for “premium” rooms. Location OK but not ideal.

The staff were excellent and eager to welcome us. They offered a room for our group to meet in, brought wine and water, and were very attentive to our happiness. Location is close to restaurants and nite life. Beautiful old building.

The bathrooms were old style without showers. Tub and wand attached to tub spout without shower curtain. One of our rooms had some mold on the wall and they changed that room so we could move. Musty smell in hallway downstairs.

Disappointed to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed on the night we arrived. I would have expected to at least get a drink in the evening. The place was obviously a grand place in it's heyday , but now has the air of somewhere that has slightly given up.

Very disappointing, hotel needs renovating! Although clean there was paint peeling off the walls and there was mould. Bike storage was the toilet area for the function room which was disappointing as they said they had secure bike storage. Breakfast was awful, either overcooked or burnt and we were charged €13 x 4 (2 days for 2 of us ) when was expecting it tore included in price. Ensuite had no shower and the bath was old and not well kept.

It is a shame the owners have let a property with so much potential fall into such disrepair. The lower floors smelled of a mixture of mold and chlorine. The wifi was unuseable. The paint on the door to our room was all chipped, and the carpet inside was beginning to smell from a leak at the door to the garden. The person who cleaned our room made the bed by haphazardly pulling the quilt up over the pillows, like a young child might do on a first attempt. The property utterly lacked in charm, despite the views of the water. What a disappointment.
