Hotel Mas des Romarins is an absolutely gorgeous property, with a beautiful view of the village of Gordes. We were warmly greeted by Aurelian at the front desk, whose customer service was outstanding. He gave us a lot of information about the village, and offered to make dinner reservations for us which was so helpful. We relaxed at their gorgeous pool, and then walked into the village to the restaurant he recommended, which was so delicious. The next morning Christophe was also very helpful-we had coffee in their beautiful patio, and truly fell in love with this gorgeous hotel. We cannot wait to return to this gem of a hotel. Thank you Aurelian and Christophe for making us feel so welcome at your beautiful hotel!

Everything was perfect!

We liked the walkability to Gordes ~.2miles away from our location. The view of Gordes from the hotel was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and accommodative.

Gordes is beautiful but isolated. We went there to attend a wedding. If you want to do more than see the town of Gordes I recommend the following solution. Fly into Marseilles, take an uber or a bus ride to the TVG train station in Marseilles, and then rent a car in Avignon to drive to Gordes. Uber rides are very expensive to get around in that area, (10km rides cost between 45-80 euro each way).

The location of this hotel was stunning! You got the most incredible view over Gordes! We loved sitting in the courtyard yard just admiring the view. The rooms were nicely renovated and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a lovely assortment of local products. They don’t have a restaurant at night but they do have pizzas and cheese or meat platters that you can order. Which was very yummy. They also have a car park for guest which is a huge bonus! Also the lady at the reception Monday and Tuesday was so lovely and helpful!

Everything was perfect

The hotel has perfect location, situated across from the village of Gordes. Beautiful views on Gordes. Staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast area has great view, and breakfast was really good (they don’t serve only sweet but also salty breakfast) and the swimming pool was nice.

The problem was our room. The room description (superior double room) was nothing close to “superior” they should just call it double room. The room was very dark and very humid. It was impossible to dry towels even with AC on. The shower didn’t work well and it took a while to get water to be warmish and by the time one of us would take shower the bathroom would be flooded as the water was collecting in the shower and the drain didn’t work properly. All in all nice hotel, however room not worth the price.

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel in Gordes and it was an incredible experience. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, especially when enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The sight of Gordes in the morning light is unmatched and truly memorable. The location is perfect, with just a short stroll to the charming village. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. We both loved every moment of our visit and are already planning our return. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about this hotel.

Location a short walk from Gordes town centre. Bedroom was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and had a view. Outdoor area was a super lovely place to relax with a drink in the evening watching the sunset over Gordes. Free on-site parking.

Bathroom. Water from shower didn't drain away fast enough and ran all over the floor. Bedroom. Very hot at night. Unable to change aircon settings and no screens on windows so couldn't leave windows open for fresh air without letting mozzies in.

Location is excellent, less than five minutes walk to the village. They are friendly and the pool is lovely. We stayed for day and it was good. The WiFi was great and it was clean.

The rooms are small and the bed is ok. It feels like they need to update the mattress in the very near future. We had a bedroom with a “ view “ but you had to get your head out of the window and crank your neck to see the village.

Everything was lovely. I had the hotel schedule a car service to arrive and return to the TGV station. They were excellent. I scheduled a 90 minute massage that was wonderful. The accommodations were great value for the money.

The coffee in the room was instant. The property to get inexpensive expresso machines for the rooms.

Fantastic location within a 5 min walk of the main village. Views were spectacular! Our room had a window with a view to the valley and was beautiful. Staff was fantastic and gracious. The outdoor patio was a beautiful place for wine in the evenings. The pool looked nice, however it rained with we were staying there. Great to have a parking spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing we didn't like

Really beautiful terraced garden, easy walk to village, beautiful view of Gordes castle and mountains, wonderful service from Christopher who brought us breakfast and took care of us in many ways. Delicious continent breakfast too
