There had been a mix up with our room booking, so when we first arrived we were in an attic room in The Castle, which was very small for a week long stay in the summer! The next morning, I went down to reception to talk to them about this and they were really accommodating, friendly and helpful, the lady on the desk found us a new room and it was absolutely perfect. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Both rooms were super clean and well equipped, but the new room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful French Alps, which was much better for enjoying the gorgeous weather in Southern France. The swimming pool and spa area were also perfect for chilling out after a day of bike riding. We were also really tired one evening after a day on the bikes, so we ordered pizza from reception, which was delicious and great for a night when we just wanted to chill out and stay in. Will be recommending Château des Magnans to all our friends!

The WiFi is a bit rubbish, given the remote location of the hotel. My advice is to take a good book and download something on Netlfix to watch before you go!

Jacuzzi!

She asked us if we wanted towels before we arrived and she didn’t explain the costs. We would have brought them with us - but, all in all, it was no big deal!

Location, appartment was big and comfortable with nice view, very clean. Kitchen well equipped with technics. Castle is fantastic! Parking big and free of charge.

Bad sheet and towels for payment, no products for dish washing machine and kitchen. No control in swimming pool: children jump in the pool, other tourists are smoking and drinking in the pool.

Good location for cycling. Very nice staff. Quiet and good value for money

The view from the window and the terasse. Kitchen well equipped. Indoor parking great -but could do with a light inside on a timer.

Not connected in any way with the nearby imposing chateau which is misleadingly used in this establishment's photos. Not that comfortable, just functional. Room heating insufficient. Pool ( rather cool) did not seem clean at the edges and the water seemed cloudy. Jaccuzi out of action. Bathroom depressing but functional. Duvets could do with a clean.

The historical place is beautiful. We stayed in a large apartment that accommodated our family well. Nice terrasse. All the amenities necessary for a short and long-stay are available.

Information about the checkout was missing. Parking is a bit messy, with no places fixed to apartments. You just have to find a free spot, inside or outside the garage.
