Really friendly staff - very helpful and welcoming. The whole place was very clean - public areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Quirky decor. So good to have 24 hour reception. Parking easy across the road and free. 5 minutes walk to the centre.

Very friendly reception staff on arrival who helped me with parking ticket. A short walk to the main square to watch the rugby match in the evening. Plenty of food for breakfast

It was like a time warp going back to the 1980's! I haven't slept with blankets for many years & the hand written receipt on departure brought back memories- but this did not spoil my enjoyment

Great location, vintage style very well maintained.and clean. Following the good reviews, we went for it and it was the right choice. Very generous breakfast. We will definitely come back!

The room was clean, position was very convenient for the town centre. The hotel and town were quiet and pleasing. It was a nice comfortable stop on a motorcycling holiday and suited our purposes very well
