The room was very quiet, as requested, and quite spacious with three beds and a more than adequate bathroom and separate WC. Security is strong and the hotel is very modern indeed throughout. Parking is no problem at all. Staff were helpful. The dining room was quite large but seemed to fill easily requiring guests to book a table for supper. The breakfast was good. It is not that far from the nearest town, Le Creusot, and is therefore a good base for touring and sightseeing- local villages and facilities. Montchanin is very quiet and offers very little though there are a few supermarkets. It was August so the area is necessarily partly closed for the summer holidays. It is a very stylish hotel in all respects.

There was a large reliance on "tech" to provide information such as menus and local info; this might not suit everyone. Staff were helpful for those perhaps not familiar. Personally we like to peruse a menu card or sheet. It is a shame the lovely room did not provide even a small fridge, which for travellers spending more than a couple of nights (we spent 6 nights there) might be handy. The pool area is pleasant but we did not make use of it; there is plenty of outdoor seating with tables.

Room was good and comfortable shower was hot and enough water, Breakfast was very good. Lockable bike shed available. Forgot to pay for our dinner on leaving but they contacted us and we could sort it all out on-line. Very friendly.

They write that they have a “safe parking” but it all seemed open to me and not locked up. Not certain if it was video checked.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money.

Lovely pool to dip in after a long drive. Breakfast was great with everything you could have wanted and with a frozen yoghurt station, my daughter was so happy. Beds were very comfortable. And the price for that value was great.

Room was not so clean in some areas. If you lifted the curtains or you looked really carefully in the bathroom you could see that. But it wasn't disgusting.

Staff was really friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel. Super nice bar staff. Clean and new facilities. Bar and restaurant areas were nice. It had a small nice pool. Location was good if you are on a roadtrip. Easy to park in the facilities.

Maybe the views to the highway, but it was not bothering me that much since the highway was a bit further and there were a lot of trees (on the other hand it is also good since you don't need to go too far to continue your road trip)

staff was super kind and professional; food (we had breakfast & dinner) was really good; pool was a bit cold, but great to have; location is close to a big street (super convenient) and the exterior (pool-side) is still very enjoyable; room was clean and great for a family of 3; building is not new, but overall very well taken care of; water suspender in the lobby is a great feature.

There are no electrical outlets at the bed

A staff that makes you happy! Super-friendly place! Nice, clean facilities, excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The location is perfect for getting on and off the road.

So very welcoming, staff all helpful and obliging - dealt with a couple of problems we had with efficiency and a smile. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Plenty of secure parking and 24 hour reception. Breakfast really comprehensive and served from 5:00 am.

Address showed a roundabout close by... Indeed, we have realised that the address is two different places in Google Maps. We called the hotel and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and gave us the right direction.

The easy access to the hotel and the car park in front. A very stylish design of the entrance and the bar. The yard with playground and swimming pool was also used for having one's breakfast outside. Birds singing.
