Central location, good views, friendly welcome, good breakfast

Restaurant was closed (on a Saturday!) which was a disappointment as the food looked great on the web site Quite tired decor

We were upgraded to a superior room with a lovely view. The hotel accommodated our electric bikes and the welcome and help from staff was lovely.

Breakfast was very well laid out. Fruit was not fresh, the yogurts out of date. However, staff were very helpful with preparation of sandwiches.

Great corner room with 2 windows in the room and one window in the bathroom, very airy. The room was located on the back of the building and was very quiet. The staff was accommodating.

The breakfast was a little disjointed. It is a small breakfast room and when it was full the staff could not keep up. All the elements were there, just not at the same time. There didn’t seem to be any other option for breakfast close by.

Clean room,comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Refurbished rooms on the 2 nd floor were very good. We were in room 208 and surprised in how large it was.

No milk in the room but I’m sure if we’d asked it would have been provided. Dinner menu very limited.

We were upgraded to a superior room free of charge. Comfortable room, good breakfast and helpful hosts. Our bikes were stored safely. Too cold on the day we visited to enjoy the garden.

The evening meal was adequate.

The staff were excellent so helpful and would highly recommend made our stay wonderful they work so hard

Nothing you can't fault them

The staff were all very helpful. The room and bathroom were tiny, but the bed was pretty big. It had everything we needed apart from any bed-side tables! The pool area was nice and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and there was a nice terrace outside with a great view.

There were some extremely nosy motorbikes riding up and down the street for a lot of the night. the restaurant wasn't open on Sunday evening and nor was anywhere else in the area (apart from the Kebab place which was really good).

Maggie, the receptionist was so helpful and friendly, as was her husband who tolerated us staying late on the verandah as we dissected our day.

A beautifully restored Hotel, with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. we were honeymooning, and they had done so many romantic touches for us. In the evening they provided us with blankets outside to keep us warm, while we enjoyed the magnificent views. The food was exceptional as well, our compliments went to the chef! Highly recommended. We will stay again without hesitation.

An Art Deco hotel with a lot of potential it looks like it's in the middle of a very good renovation we really enjoyed staying here, a really cool old hotel. Our room was newly decorated, clean, comfy and had charming original features. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to store our bikes in the cellar which was good.

Wish we had a smart TV (this goes for everywhere we have stayed though)
