We were surprised at the size of the property and grounds. The main house is beautiful.Our chalet(chambre d’hotes) was immaculately clean with plenty of room inside, great power shower, self catering facilities if you needed them but we ate out in the evening so didn’t need them. Underfloor heating, was nice but also had air conditioning in the room if you’re staying in the summer months. Breakfast,which is served in the conservatory, was delicious, with more than enough to eat and drink. Francois, our host, was friendly and made us feel really welcome. Although we didn’t use it, there is an outdoor swimming pool in the garden which was surrounded by sun loungers which would be a great place to relax in summer.

It feels warm, relaxed and welcoming. The family are lovely and friendly. The gardens are beautiful, and the pool is wonderful 😍 Breakfast is varied and plentiful with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, delicious breads and jams, and it just kept coming - freshly cut ham and a selection of cheeses too. The little cottage I stayed in was beautifully appointed and it was delightful to sit outside in the evening sunshine and admire the ambience and surroundings.

Everything, the Chateau is beautiful, sirenne and well kept keeping it's character. Hosts are amazing putting you at ease and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. It feels you're being looked after at home. Breakfast amazing and chilled swimming pools. Our toddler loved the birds and Toby the dog! Beds are super comfy and very descent size room

Excellent staff which met our questions and met our needs every time. Spacious and elegant rooms. The breakfast was stunning and constisted of a variety of breads, cheese, ham, fresh orange juice, coffee/tee, jams, different butter and freshly cut fruits….and more! A very cosy breakfast area. All in all a place we really enjoyed!

Great stay there. We were lucky with a good weather so we could enjoy lovely pool, flowers and birds. Hosting family- lovely. You also can arrange the lift from railway station till villa via call. Beautiful small village to visit. Train to Paris ( up to 30 mins).

Location is perfect for a visit to Versailles, only 25 minutes by car. A very short walk to a village with a couple of nice restaurants and traditional shops. Forest is close to explore too. The breakfast was perfect and hosts were very accommodating.

Beautiful stay in an elegant manor house. We wanted to stay in the standard room with the fireplace, and called the hotel in advance to ask that, but the room was booked on that night, so they told us that we were given the other room. We said OK. However, it was a good surprise for us when we arrived late at night at the hotel from Dublin and we were given the room we had asked as the booking was canceled last minute. There were other guests arriving before us in the hotel, but the owners did not forget us and kept their promise, so this was a warm welcome to us. The room was super, very spacious , elegantly decorated and had a king size comfortable bed. Plus, we had a big dog , but this was not a limiting factor like in some hotels in the choice of the room. The breakfast room was excellent, in an elegant winter garden, with green plants. We thought it might be a bit cold in the beginning but was well heated by the owners, so it was cosy and warm. The tables were elegantly and tastefully decorated, and nicely and warmly served by the owners. It was a pleasant breakfast overall.

Some warm varieties would be great to add to the breakfast; like eggs or ham.

Very beautiful old house with a real sense of family history with a few modern touches and very comfortable. The owner showed us her the antique hand drawn family portraits adorning the walls. English was spoken well and we were made to feel very welcome. They made my birthday stay very special. The swimming pool was delightful. Delicious breakfasts!

A stay in a beautiful little village like Neauphle-le-Château was exactly what we were looking for, and Clos Saint Nicolas was the perfect complement. The room was lovely and spacious, the grounds relaxing and breakfast delightful.
