Easy access from motorway but peaceful. Beautiful old building converted with style. Large and comfortable rooms with excellent bathrooms.

Outside light shining through my bathroom window & glass bathroom door made sleeping difficult. Eventually, I thought to cover the window with my towel... There is a kitchen downstairs but a kettle to make tea in the room would have been appreciated before leaving early on a cold, dark morning.

Nice rural location with a nice room. Perfect host . Nice cosy stay with parking on the gravel area.

Kitchen & communal areas needed cleaning a bit and the garden could do bit of a spring clean.

Very welcoming host. Interesting to talk to. Nice airy quiet place in the heart of the country side. Large shared kitchen with huge table and everything you need to cook simple meals.

The property is on the edge of a small village with spacious rooms overlooking open countryside in the hills above Valence. We were offered a very good evening meal and breakfast at very reasonable rates which was very useful as the nearest restaurants were 5 kilometres away in Auvillar. The host is excellent and has a very interesting background and should be proud of what he has achieved.

The building has been renovated to a reasonable standard but with a few rough edges still present as an outbuilding is a work in progress. The kitchen diner is accessed by a separate door from the accommodation making it good for a stopover rather than an extended stay.

No mention of breakfast, which was a bit odd. In the end we ate some of the food we had planned for lunch. Mosquitos meant that we could not open the windows, which meant that the room was very stuffy despite the fan. Dishwasher full of dirty crockery & lots of recycling by the bin despite us being the 1st to check in.
