Jolysable is my favourite accommodation when driving from uk to Spain. Have stayed three times so far and have just booked to stay again in March when we drive back to Spain. The accommodation has always been immaculately clean. The host is very welcoming and always around if you need him. Absolutely love the breakfast which consists of my favourite home made yogurt, it’s a great continental breakfast and if the weather is nice you can sit outside in the lovely grounds. I my favourite part is seeing all the rescued animals in the grounds. Can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough.

Nothing, everything is great

A fantastic, beautifully converted mill just a short walk from centre of Pons. The owners are really friendly and welcoming and the place itself was incredibly clean, warm and comfortable. The bed and bathroom were fantastic and kitchen small but very efficient and clean. Owner was very welcoming to our dog as well as willing to offer guidance on where to go for food and drinks in the evening. Would happily return.

We liked the continental breakfast and the breakfast room is fascinating but would have loved some eggs and/or cereal as a further option to fill us up a bit more for the day.

An amazing place to stay which we will recommend friends and family to go to. Incredibly decorated rooms and a relaxing garden with many very nice spots to relax. Located outside the village of Pons but we could walk to the center in 15 min with two kids and a stroller. We got recommended a restaurant (Don Jon) which had the best food we had in our 3 weeks “Tour the France with car and kids”. The hospitality from the owners were amazing and the breakfast to. I literally had nothing to complain about!

Stunning furnishings. Lovely touches . Owner helpful and friendly. Very arty. Lots of wildlife in separated garden with a lake and numerous seating areas. Breakfast area within the Mill workings. Attention to detail with the rooms and communal areas was superb. Just a 15 minute walk to Pons which was lovely.

Garden was lovely but had a water course through it with a ten foot drop. Couldn't let the dog off the lead.. could be dangerous for any toddlers too. Biggest dislike was taking the dog out to the garden at night. It was pitch black. Not a light anywhere. Very dangerous with the exposed drop to the water. Torch on phone was a lifesaver. A few well placed solar lights would be perfect. Apart from the drop to the water , everything else was perfect.

The owner met us at the gate, we were later than expected due to a breakdown and he was charming and helpful despite the late arrival time. The bedroom was restful, artistically furnished, bed large and comfortable, bathroom and kitchen well appointed. Just what we needed after a long journey. A bonus was the table and chairs outside our room where we enjoyed our picnic supper in the beautiful gardens. We really loved the gardens, they were beautifully kept, interesting sculptures and old artefacts, also a fenced off part where the owner kept a variety of animals. It was all very charming, a welcome haven after our breakdown. We also very much enjoyed our breakfast outside the next morning, much of it homemade or sourced from local providers.

Absolutely nothing!

Warm welcome to a beautiful property - our third visit and never fails to entrance - so many beautiful details and attention to guest comfort. Love the natural lakeside setting and animals. Wonderful breakfast in amazing converted mill with cascading water in the background and always served with care and interest - delicious home made produce and stunning art work throughout the property. Would highly recommend.

That we could only stay 1 night!

This was an absolute find and so we ended up extending our stay! Our hosts were warm, jolly, welcoming & informative, yet, would also leave you to your privacy. The room was spacious and much more than we were expecting, it was clean, tidy, plus humourous, quirky and dog friendly !! Even though Jolysable wasn't far from the motorway, you would never know, you really are 'in' nature. An assortment of rescue animals, (sheep,goats, pigs, chickens etc), were a wonderful addition to this idyllic 'retreat'. Oh..and a small breakfast included... Fantastic!. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Florin and Claire.

,This is our fifth time stopping over at Joylysable on our way to Spain. We absolutely love it here. It’s definitely our favourite hotel. We are made to feel so welcomed. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are very comfortable. We love waking up and seeing the animals especially the peacock walking round the grounds

Fabulous comfy bed, very large quiet room with great facilities - very cosy and warm (it was -5 outside!), lovely quirky design features, super breakfast with lots of coffee, breads, croissants, home made yoghurts, jams, cheeses. Our dog appreciated all the space in the room and he was very welcomed. Location is perfect - we were on our way back from Spain in January and stayed 2 nights - easy to access from the main road and a 15 minute walk (or 2 min drive)into Pons centre for some great bistros(also dog friendly). Lovely historic town with great little market in the centre and amazing dungeon! We wil definitely stay here again en route, a great find, thank you Florian and Claire!

This stay was probably my favourite of a 13 stay trip. It is quirky, has a wonderful lake with animal’s. The design is wonderful with sculptures, artwork and all facilities you need. Close to Pons for lovely restuarants. The welcome is outstanding. Just loved it - didn’t want to leave xx

The only disappointment was that we were only there 1 night!!
