The owners Aurore and Vincent and little Olaf were absolutely wonderful. We we on our way from our home in La Magdeleine Charante to meet my parents in Antibes we also had with us two of our little chihuahuas Oliver and Dougie. We arrived in the middle of an absolute downpour! However this did not dampen our spirits as Aurore met us with a smile and a cheeky upgrade to a higher category room. The room was,just perfect with direct access to the garden it was easy with the dogs. The room was bright fresh beautifully and tastefully decorated. There is WiFi (not for us as Olaf had that very night got giddy and pulled out the modem wires, not that we minded at all) a huge television. The bed was very comfy as we're the towels too. Breakfast was amazing with items been handmade by Vincent himself, the diningroom is amazing with its curved ceiling again very beautiful and tastefully decorated. If we had been returning home via the same route we would have 100% booked to stay again, however the next visit down south or if anyone we know is heading that way we will be recommending to book nowhere else.

The hostess was charm, the place was extremely quiet and cozy and v ery clean. Breakfast was served by the host, it was huge, tasty and with fresh products, besides de juice.

First of all, although we did not miss it a lot, there was no TV and Internet was not in operation (they said they had a recent failure...) We understood there was a boiler and a cofee pot, but there was only a boiler. In general we find that breakfast prices are a bit expensive all over the France accomodations...

The room was spacious and charming. It was pet friendly. The hosts were very accommodating and very friendly. The parking was excellent. Breakfast was extra BUT definitely a highlight of the stay. Homemade jams and yogurt, local cheese and ham, wonderful fresh breads ... and great chat with the owner.

Lovely friendly welcome and the rooms were perfect with big comfy beds and large rainfall type showers with two towels each. Coffee and Tea making facilities. The breakfast was fabulous with more than enough choice to fill you up for a great start to the day. We loved le Caylar and would definitely stay again when we return.

Character, cleanliness, close to the motorway but very quiet. Car park. I only needed one night as I was en route to Calais so it was a very late booking but I was quickly accommodated. Excellent breakfast with homemade and local produce and I understand that other meals are available on days when the local restaurants are closed.

My room was adequate for a short stay but I think that more storage space would help for longer stays.

Lovely set up. Room with garden space to sit in. The room was clean and modern. There was a kettle for use which was a nice bonus. We found the bed on the hard side but that’s down to personal preference. Great location to find food places. The host was very helpful and responded to emails very quickly as we were delayed in arriving. The breakfast was Mediterranean with juices, breads and cheese. With croissants and Jam and a choice of tea.

Great location just off the autoroute, easy to find. Room was very clean and good amenities. Lovely breakfast with most of the ingredients being home made by Aurore the host.

We weren’t met on arrival, so worried that we had the wrong place. An email had been sent to us that no one would be there but as we were travelling we had no internet and didn’t pick up the message until later.

Vincent was very welcoming on arrival, rooms were lovely and clean. The courtyard/garden off our rooms was very pretty and the breakfast area and food was great. We had our dogs with us and it was so accommodating I would thoroughly recommend a stay here and it was great value for money. We will defo return next year if not before on our way back to the UK.

The property is located in a pretty village and there is the option of eating in a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The room we had was very spacious and set in a small courtyard. The breakfast was very nice. We sat with other guests on a long table and the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was fine, It is also located very close to getting back on the main transport network, even though you would have thought you were in the middle of the countryside. |We had our two dogs with us and they were made very welcome and it is definitely a doggy friendly place.

Unfortunately the owner was called away but he did speak to us on the phone so it wasnt an issue and the other staff looked after us ok. If I was being picky, it would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room and some milk for our coffee.

Friendly welcome from the young owners. Well appointed room with lovely ensuite facilities. At the edge of a busy little village with a choice of restaurants, not far off the motorway.

There's little to dislike. Maybe a savoury choice for breakfast like a boiled egg and toast? Though the little sweet breads were lovely.
