Excellent location opposite the train station. Very quiet and no noise from the trains. The look of the front view of the Hotel does not do it justice to what's inside and lovely accommodation rooms behind it. Great value for money overall. Clean rooms with heater and a large walk in shower was a bonus. Breakfast area was very clean and plenty of delicious food provided at a reasonable price. We would recommend the location and there is a bus stop opposite that a free hop on and off bus will take you up into Quimper town / village every 40 minutes.

I didn't like the fact that booking.com hide the "hold fee on the room" way down in your info about the hotel. you need to put that up front. I was surprised to be notified that a temp hold was placed on my card.

Nice hotel located just near the Gare SNCF and Bus terminal. About 10 minutes walk to the city center but many people come to Quimper to see and visit places around so it is convinient to have a place near train/bus stations. Very good and quiet place, nice spacious rooms, clean bathroom. Nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.

I have a few small remarks. First - there were no wardrobe or a rack for cloth hangers in the room. You will have a small bar with a few hooks. So the clothes will be placed everywhere or left in the baggage for better days. Also not everyone from the staff can speak even A1 level english which sometimes can come as a confusing and torturous conversation if you need more shampoo or towels, for example.

Excellent location directly in front of train station. Wonderful to have a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine in the room. I very much appreciated that the host gave me the choice of speaking in French or English which gave me the opportunity to practice my very limited French. Most hosts I encounter switch to English immediately they hear me speak.

The hotel was a good starting point for our excursions in Quimper and to the Mondial Pupilles football games nearby. I appreciate: Very friendly and helpful personal. A very quiet room. Convenient parking.

The shower was too close to the toilet. (The toilet used to get wet when I took a shower.)

The room was very simple but spacious, quiet and clean. There is no elevator and we were on the second floor so be prepared to haul your suitcases up two flights of stairs. The location was convenient for walking to the old town. Breakfast was good. If you have a chance the Pizzeria de Quai was extraordinary.

Hotel de la Gare was very welcoming and I was amused by the offer of a welcome drink - in my case, cider. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were good.

My room was in a courtyard at the back of the main building, where there was no outlook and the surroundings were noisy at times.

It was very conveniently located for the old town and had car parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean and we were given a stained towel which although had been cleaned previously was horrible.

Located opposite the train,coach and bus station. Antoine and Alex are great hosts and Audrey, receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. Don't be fooled by the front view as hotel extends back with adequate car park. Breakfast is adequate and good value.

A small inconspicuous hotel opposite Quimper train station. Wow, what a gem, with friendly helpful staff, well-proportioned rooms, and an excellent breakfast. With the bus terminal and train station directly opposite, as well as a free shuttle into Quimper city centre, it is ideally placed if you don’t have a car.
