Wonderful stay in local house with just one guest room. Very warm welcome, helpful suggestions for places to eat 20 minutes walk away, and superb breakfast of home made breads and jams. Excellent place to stay on the way to the Alps.

Absolutely nothing to dislike at all! The traditional house has stairs up to the first floor bedroom which are steeper than most in England - only worth noting for anyone not good on stairs. We had absolutely no problem with them at all, and loved them as part of the interest of the house.

This was our favourite stop on our trip. We had such a lovely warm welcome from the host. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfy. We had an excellent sleep. Fresh water with mint from her garden on arrival, along with superb tea and coffee making facilities. The host accommodated our bike in her garage too so our moss were at ease knowing it was safe. She served a delightful breakfast in the morning, with home baked bread (the best we have ever tasted) and home made apple juice using apples they grew in their garden. After breakfast she gave us a tour of the garden. The stay was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy too. The shower room was light and spacious too.

The room was impeccably clean, had a private bathroom and access to a lovely garden that I regrettably overlooked during my stay. Additionally, the host was exceptional, extending a warm welcome and going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. While I felt a bit chilly on my initial night (mostly because I am always cold, haha), Simone was an absolute delight and promptly adjusted the heating and offered an extra blanket.

No minuses. I would come back here any time.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Delicious and healthy breakfast in a cozy kitchen! The host baked bread for us, also we had home made apple juice and jam. Absolutely clean room and very comfortable bed.

Lovely place the host was very welcoming. The facilities were as expected ,the bed & room very comfortable. Didn't get to check out the location as only there passing for 1 night.Breakfast was fab everything home made including the bread.

Nothing to dislike.

Simone went out of way to welcome us and allowed us to use their garage for our car which had a roof box on and skiing equipment within. It gave us peace of mind. Spacious bedroom and bathroom good attention to detail. Homemade bread and jams for breakfast and delicious coffee.

Good sleep in a comfortable bed. Lots of space in the bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Simone was a lovely host and it was a pleasure to meet her.

the breakfast consisted mostly of homemade things (homemade applejuice, homemade freshly baked bread, homemade jam & jelly).

The room was big, clean and quiet. Simone was an extremely helpful and friendly host. The breakfast was really nice. And the garage was a plus for my motorcycle.
