This is a wonderful peaceful location. The host Fred, owner and chef, is very friendly and helpful and the locally sourced food does him credit. The hotel is only a few minutes by car outside St. Agreve and is easy to find thanks to large signposts. Parking is easy within the grounds of the hotel. For guests with velos, there is a locked store which also has facilities for recharging electric velos.

There is no air-con, which is difficult during a heatwave. However the park provides lots of shade. Also access to rooms and the hotel is via steps and stairs although that did not bother us.

Very welcoming, beautiful old place, very clean in well preserved environment.Lots of things to visit around, hiking, accrobranche, historic train, old jewelry manufactur. We were served some fruits and less pastries for breakfast, the owner was very accommodating. We loved the diner set with local products!

Bathroom are with basic materials but neutral color wich, personally appreciate. The bathroom could benefit more ventilation with a oscillating window, there is a ventilation system but i like to be able to let fresh air directly coming and I’m sensitive to scented spray.

breakfast was real French. nice bread with pastries, diner was very good and although tere was no vegetarian option, it was still prepared on the spot. The hotel has a very nice view on the Mont Mezenc. As pre diner spot the separate lounge was also very comportable.

In order to shower you had to hold the shower in one hand (in the bath tub). A shower which is attached to the wall, would be nicer.
