We had a fabulous stay. The location is excellent, right at the harbour in St. Cyprien with everything within walking distance. The complex itself is beautifully and serenely furnished with plenty of communal areas to hang out. We stayed in one of the duplex apartments which overall was spacious and comfortable, the two mezzanine bedrooms specifically. We went for the (slightly cheaper) option without the sea view, and although I am sure the sea view adds to it, a fantastic communal roof terrace more than made up for the lack of one. The service was excellent and non-intrusive, nothing was ever a problem and when we had a small problem with the air conditioning it was looked into straight away.

No major issues. We were a family of four and the living room area is not the largest, but everyone was happy to hang out in bedrooms and on the roof terrace. The cooking facilities are adequate, although there was no oven (there was a microwave and two hobs) and we probably would have struggled to cook a full meal for everyone. But there are so many options for eating out and getting takeaways that this didn't really become a problem.

Aurelie is EXCEPTIONAL as a host. Brilliant beach / port location, clean and comfortable duplex apartment L'Horizon (sea view, number 7), nearby parking for 10 euros per day, amazing large roof terrace with sofas, chairs & tables, sun loungers - and definitely worth getting up early for the sunrise! Supermarket next door, lots going on in the area including shops, restaurants, funfair. The electric shutters are brilliant, so no noise overnight, and they keep the apartment dark. Air conditioning, dishwasher and tablets , kettle, coffee maker, small kitchen area. The inside areas of the appartment building are lovely, with plants and water features and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. There are 21 apartments at Blue Mer. We really enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect end to our two week touring holiday. We would definitely return.

Access to a washing machine would be good at Blue Mer. This was our 7th and final accommodation of our touring holiday and was the most expensive, but all the other accommodations had a washing machine and some toiletries in the bathroom (although we knew this before we booked so it's not a complaint, just an observation).

What was not to like We had a duplex suite so there were stairs up to the bedroom. No problem. We had a wonderful terrace with a view over the harbour. We saw fresh fish being landed and then nipped outside to buy some to cook in our little kitchenette. We loved it so much we stayed for an extra night. We had found a parking space to just left the car and wandered from the room to the beach. We didn't want to go along the coast at that time (still off peak) so just wallowed in our good fortune . There's a brilliant restaurant next door plus a very helpful epicirie as well. The staff were so friendly. There was a lovely roof terrace but we didn't need it. Choosing the duplex was key. We had space and a wonderful terrace. I don't know how we would have loved it so much without that but asking for a sea view is always worth it.

No complaints. If it had been me I would have included an information pack to help visitors but in our case it didn't apply. Cyclists on the go along the promenade added advice.

- Location was ideal, just around the corner from the 'happening ' of St. Cyprien - Very friendly staff - Clean - Dogs (even 8+ kg) are aloud

- Steep stairs in our apartment, might be a problem for people who are less mobile - The charge for the dog is very much excessive. €10/day for a final cleaning at checkout is for a 2 week holiday way overpriced! (i.e. €140,- for 1 cleaning) In comparison to a hotel you pay a similar charge, but the room gets cleaned every day, which is more balanced for the requested charge

The staff are really nice. The AC really worked even during the heat wave.. Very centrally located, and the public spaces are great. Apartment is nicely (efficiently and neatly) arranged.

The duplex apartment for 4 was a bit tight. Bedrooms are small but comfy enough; however, the living/dining/kitchenette ares is pretty small for 4. It's perfect if you want to just have breakfast/simple lunches, but preparing and sitting down to a dinner would be a bit of a challenge

There was a lovely welcome when we arrived from Aurelie and the cleaning lady. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a lovely view of the Port. The location is excellent right next to the restaurant's and bars. The terrace on the top of the building was excellent for relaxing which is just what we needed.

The inside of the building is very stylish and has a huge roof terrace with panorama view. We got an amazing appartment which was big and every room was large (the toilette was separated). It had a balcony from where we saw the harbour and the evening life of the village. We also got parking place for free. The comfortable beach is also very near. This place is always suitable for a romantic holiday. Every member of the staff was very kind.

Great views from our balcony and shared roof terrace. Close to lots of good French and seafood restaurants. Supermarket next door. Close private parking. Saint Cyprien good location for other costal spots like Collioure.

Split level room 2 steps down to bathroom from bed, not good for older people

I don’t give many maximum reviews but this place is great, they were super accommodating for our dog, friendly, the duplex we had was perfect overlooking the sea, just fab

We were lucky with parking being slightly out of season and free on the road outside, don’t know if this is normal, could be an issue in peak season but we were fine

The location was superb with restaurants and a supermarket very close by, however, the apartment was still very quiet. The views were lovely, especially from the roof terrace, of the sea, beach and marina. The balcony was great for breakfast. Everything we could have needed was in the apartment, particularly in the kitchen. The apartment was over two levels, both air-conditioned and with a television. Parking was free and very easy.

We liked everything but be aware that the stairs in the apartment are a bit steep and narrow.
