Hotel du Golfe is a quiet, remote gem in Tizzano — perfect for a few days of total switch-off. The location is stunning, with a private-feeling swim spot right out front and beautiful views from the balcony. Rooms are simple and not luxurious, but the view more than makes up for it. There are only two restaurants nearby — both a bit pricey but with good food. If you’re after peace, nature, and a slower pace, this place is hard to beat.

Our bed was very creaky from the slightest of movement.

If you are seeking tranquility, peace and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean dancing amongst the rocks or chilling and being amazed by the sunset vistas, then go no further. The hotel does not need all those facilities that make for a 6 star classification. Mother Nature provides everything necessary. There are good restaurants close. You will need a car to get to Tizzano but once here the region has plenty of walking or biking adventures or you can just relax on the beach. The balconies are private. Ground floor units have sun terraces. Breakfast is served in a room looking over the ocean. A lovely start to the day. Or finish the day at the bar looking at the sunset. For us, Hotel du Golfe at Tizzano will forever be a highlight of our overseas experiences.

We should have stayed longer.

Tizzano is literally in the middle of nowhere. I think this is why we loved it. There’s no shops. There’s a few restaurants but no supermarkets etc. Definitely get some snacks and booze etc on the way in. You can swim and snorkel just below the hotel and the snorkelling is amazing. There’s an unbelievable beach about 5 min walk from hotel. The water is so clear and fish everywhere. It was one of the more relaxing and chilled out holidays we’ve had for a while. We felt 5 days was probably enough here but we loved our stay! Friendly hotel staff and restaurant workers were also super nice.

The view is stunning, very clean room, great staff, there were 3 SUPs that you could’ve used anytime!

Our room (21) was just 1 step away from the breakfast terrace. From 7h you can hear dish noises and from 7h30 already people having their breakfast. If you are not a morning person I think this room is not for you. Second thing is just a suggestion. In the room you have a note saying that we should think about the planet and the towels on the floor mean they have to be changed. All the towels were hanging and they were still all changed twice. Im not sure if it was necessary as we didn’t “ask” it.. also suggestion in the future to think about changing some facilities in the bathroom, as they are pretty old…

Friendly family like staff Flexible and available , ready to put extra effort to make sure you are enjoining your vacation and are comfortable , reserved and polite They kindly assisted us when we had issues (I need some medicaments ). Very cozy hotel itself , we slept with open windows to hear the sound of the sea 🥰 Bed were comfortable, we stayed 8 nights and slept amazing ) We enjoyed few amazing sunsets 🌅

Temperature in the showers was changing from cold to hot , difficult to adjust

We loved this hotel! The staff was exceptionally kind, and the service we received from Adeline, Francoise and the room cleaners was just top notch. The breakfast was fantastic every day, with fresh pastries and fruit and, my favorites, yogurt and panna cotta! Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The little bar was wonderful to have and the location was beautiful and couldn't be beat. I highly recommend Hotel du Golfe!

The room was very simple, but fit all our needs. There was a little twin bed that we used as a sort of table. It would be nice if it was, instead, a sofa, since there were only two of us. But it would work great as a bed if you had a 3rd person or child.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before when under previous management. Current owners have made improvements to what was already a nice, if simple hotel. Location and views from rooms could not be improved upon - we could sit for hours watching the sea just below us. Breakfasts were exceptional, with home made items and well worth the 15€. Pizzaria and full restaurant right next door.

No on site parking, although no problems parking in the street outside when we visited in June.

We loved the sunset view. We are Australian , so no french language. Some staff limited in English, but tried very hard to help in anyway. We always appreciated their efforts. On site bar with beer wine, AperolSpritz etc to watch sunset, think hours were 4 til 8pm.2 restaurants next door, one was pizza etc, the other various food. 10/15 min walk to seafood restaurant and same in othere direction to a resort hotel restaurant. We loved walking down the steps of hotel and diving into the ocean. We would take snacks & beers and lay on sunbeds down there. Also only 10/15 min walk to sandy beach.. Our room was next to bar. Not noisy, however no roof. I would suggest asking for ones with roof for sun& rain.Extremely well located! Would stay again!

Amazing view from the balcony! Reception was friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good and the room was clean. There is free parking along the street and the restaurants nearby have delicious food! The location is very peaceful and you can see so many stars at night with clear skies. There is a wonderful beach just a short walk away!

The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom was small. The shower also sprayed water everywhere without a closure, but luckily the staff replaced the floor towel every day. We were located in the room right by the breakfast area- not great for privacy! I would recommend requesting a room on the bottom or top floors.

The hotel is a charm! Our room was very nice, very clean, with all the basics for our stay and the terrace is AMAZING. I could be there for a month always looking to that beautiful view. The lady that received us on check-in was basically the sweetest and nicest person we met in Corse, she was so nice, explained everything very well and when she opened the door of our room to show us, honestly the view took our breath away. The bar of the hotel is also very cool for a drink by the end of the day, very relaxing. Breakfast is very good as well. We loved it and will recommend this hotel to everyone travelling to Corse.
