This place is a real find for us needing an over night stoppover on our journey from southern Spain to the Channel Tunnel. It is close to the motorway, easy to find and offers very convenient parking right outside a comfortable room. The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard offering a copius buffet to start followed by a choice of excellent main courses. The cod we had was the best we have sampled for a long time. The staff were relaxed and quietly efficient.

There is a lack of staffing during daytime hours meaning the bar and restaurant building are locked for periods of time.

A new motel with a parking space at your door. The room was recently renovated (built), very clean, big enough for two persons, wiy comfort able beds, and very quiet. Everything worked very well. A reception worked till 20:30, we arrived a bit later, but still could check in after a telephone call. A restaurant didn't work in the evening, so, check its workings hours. Breakfast was simple, not much choice, but with good coffee.

The evening meal was very tasty and good value. Breakfast was also good. The bed was comfortable, and bathroom facilities modern., though rather chilly.

Reception was closed when we arrived shortly after 5pm. I tried all three of the telephone numbers listed on the door, but none connected through. It could have been the fault of my UK mobile, but that has worked successfully previously. We had no option but to wait for someone to turn up, at almost 6pm. Not a good start to the stay. Also, the room was chilly until the heating got going adequately.

Easy to get to. Clean and comfortable

No tea/coffe making facilities or hair dryer. It was also disappointing that the on site restaurant was not open on a Saturday night.

Very nice spacious family room with very good beds and good airconditioning in this heatwave was very appreciated. Friendly staff. Breakfast was all you need. Ask for Milk for cornflakes and they bring it. Ask for Milk for Hot chocolate and they bring it. They also brought Hot croissants to the table we felt welcome. No complaints. At night a lizard came out of the boards at the bottom of the bathroom door and he seems to live in the family room 31. The kids named him Harry and I found him really charming and took pictures of him. He was actually more scared of us then we were of him. Maybe he Just wanted some water in this current heatwave. We love wildlife so we liked the visitor. We liked our stay.

bed mattress uncomfortable and wrong position for dogs as right near reception so hard to stop them barking.. people arriving very late and leaving very early so didn’t sleep well and dogs prob disturbed others.. being further away from reception would have meant no barking..

Our family room was big and spacious with a double bed and three single beds. The bathroom is brand new and spotless.
