Warm welcome from the Hotel owner, Thierry and Audrey who is his assistant manager. The property has had a detailed renovation and has kept the charm and the history of the property. The attention to detail was so refreshing to us, as we travel a lot and stay in some lovely hotels, everything about this hotel lived up to our expectations. It’s homely and relaxing and the food and service is absolutely excellent. The bonus as well it’s dog friendly, we travel with our sausage dog and he loved his stay too! Thierry has a dog called Omega who is very friendly and sweet.

Great location in the centre of Uzerche accessible through the town wall gate and through narrow lanes. Parking is limited but there are several space available if pre-booked. The welcome was exceptional, with both the owner Thierry and his staff very helpful and charming. Our room was small but very clean, well equipped, an excellent modern ensuite, and fabulous views down over the Vezere river. Excellent breakfast, however the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening with only a couple of options available in the town, which reception kindly warned us about in advance and booked for us.

Nothing not to like.

The property is STUNNING and Thierry is amazing. He is very kind, he made us feel so welcome, the hotel restaurant was closed while we were there so he pre-booked us at another restaurant in town. I am so happy we decided to stay here instead of in Limoges because the town was so stunning. Also, Thierry has a dog Omega who is the cutest and makes you feel right at home. It has all of the best vibes of a classic french Chateau with modern amenities. I look forward to staying here again.

I would say the only thing about the property would be that the location was just a little quiet and not a lot of variety in the are. The property itself was incredible.

We had a great stay and the hotel owner and staff were fantastic. The room was clean and spacious and we were given a great introduction to all facilities. The owners dog 'Omega' is the star of the staff and was extremely friendly with our old dog. The location in the old town is great and driving up the narrow street through an old stone arch is spectacular. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Wonderfully adapted building for a very comfortable stay and cleverly maintaining the historic heritage of the building. The owner and staff were excellent; ensuring a friendly and relaxing stay.

Beautiful historical building felt like I got to live in a castle for the night. The hostess (audette not sure if I have the name right) was extremely helpful and super nice

The only thing that wasn't great was the WiFi!!!!

Great spot and owner was so helpful. Moved his car so we had his parking. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely people lovely hotel. We will go back. Picturesque location
