It’s a beautiful place and the owning couple are fantastic. Just look at it! It’s a beautiful project and by staying, we’re all just a tiny bit of it, but it’s a wonderful feeling to be a tiny bit of something as beautiful as this building and as nice as the people who manage it. This was our second time staying, and trust me when I say where people who normally much prefer something new to something good that we’ve experienced before, but this building, it’s beautiful ROOMS, and the charming couple that administer it and own it, make it a great place to stay, either as a couple like us, or with the family,

This isn’t the sort of hotel where you can nitpick tiny detail details, it’s a beautiful historical building in the good care of a couple evaluate and want to bring it back to life, by any measure that’s a project worthy of encouragement. We’ll be back again and we thoroughly recommend that if you’re hovering over a decision to stay or not stay, that you decide to stay as we have done, and feel good about it.

The owners were very helpful with the late arrival of some of our party. We felt very at home in this delightful property. We had off road secure parking for our classic car and they helped us find a taxi to a local wedding venue. We ate dinner on the night we arrived which was delicious and so nice not to have to go out and find somewhere to eat. The breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and listening to the birds. We would love to return one day.

The magnificent atmosphere and character of the place and soothing personalities of the hosts. This old building is simply magical and so much more than a hotel/ B&B- it is full of art, culture and history. We arrived quite late and were welcomed by the hosts who cooked us 3 course meal (you could have either vegetarian or fish option), an old radio played classical music and there was a photographic gum prints exhibition to look at before we headed to bed. Simple, fresh food (veg from the owners' garden, baked goods from local bakery); serene garden, peaceful location, exceptional attention to detail both outside and inside. Comfortable beds.

Just a suggestion- locks/ keys for the guest rooms and a bottle of water with couple of glasses for the rooms too would be great.

I had an amazing stay at Manoir des arts, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. They tend to the visitors and know great places around the location. I truly recommend this accommodation. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good with different options and the dinner was great. The garden it's a wonderful place to relax and rest in the sun. They have chickens and sheeps which add to the whole experience (countryside) I'm glad I got to know you a bit during my stay, wish you all the best!

Very friendly greeting. Our room was huge. Big bath, long soak after direct flights from Sydney AU. Our hostess made us lovely soup for dinner, we were wilting to tired for any more. Bed lovely started raining, lay in bed just listening to the night sounds. Brekkie was great, we enjoyed our 1st night in France very much. Just wonderful. Very easy to park.

Nothing at all

Everything! Case and his wife were most friendly and helpful. When I noticed the Giant Sequoia tree from my 2nd floor window I was most impressed, being from California. Great breakfast, big room, even had 100 yr old postcards to look at.

The circular shower curtain over the bath tub was funky by the big window, but I knew that going in and it added to the French Fun!!

It was totally wonderful!! Beautiful secret garden with all sorts of hidden mystery and fun, kind owner, nice breakfast, everything we needed, very affordable!

We slept in the attic and it was a bit hot, but worth it.

A beautiful historic home , set in lush parkland. The hosts were particularly welcoming and charming, providing us with everything to make our stay a memorable experience. What did we like about it? Everything! 😊

a magnificent old house, which was a pleasure to live in, the bathroom with a window was especially beautiful, I wanted to have a photo shoot there. The host was very nice and prepared us breakfast with fresh pastries in the morning, there is a wonderful atmosphere in the house. I consider this experience invaluable and recommend everyone to stay at this place

The owner couldn't do enough for us. On arrival we discovered that food no longer served in the evening and there are no restaurants in Villeblevin. However, the owner suggested a nearby town (20 minute drive) and rang and booked a table for us.
