Beautiful and quiet location in Bavaria. Staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English, although my German is also good. We visited this location to see an old friend, who showed us were the hotel was exactly. Had a evening meal too on the premises with our friend and it was delicious, especially the local cuisine. The weather was definitely on our side, so sitting outside under the umbrellas for shade was fantastic. I would definitely visit this hotel again. Payment was at the hotel, however they accepted my Barclaycard, so I didn't have to dip into my cash Euros, so all good. Very highly recommended.

Great looking building both inside and outside. Staff were great. Nice bar / restaurant area. Room was very nice, clean, spacious and clean and modern. Laundry free to use. Good breakfast, and we ate in the restaurant the night before and the food was very good

Nothing really, location wasn’t central but didn’t affect us as we were just stopping over for a night on the way to Dachau

This hotel is great!!!! It was exactly what our family was looking for while staying in ansbach for the night. The area the hotel is in is quiet and there was plenty of parking and great staff that also speaks English. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Try the gluwine, you will not regret it.

It was very clean and renovated. The satff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was decent.

The location, that it's not in the city centre and if you rely on public transport, it takes longer to get back to it from the city centre than vice versa because of the bus route. But in general it's not that far and if you have a car it takes less time. Also it would be nice if they put a kettle in the room to make hot drinks.

The facility was clean and seemed to be updated from it original condition. The restaurantsant connected very conveniently and have good food. Breakfast was great.

Mattress on the twin bed very firm. Too firm actually to get a good night's rest.

Wonderful and absolute pleasure staying at this lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. Food and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

The room was very big, which was a nice surprise. It was clean, had a couch, plenty of closet/storage space too, plus a good sized desk. Our room had a balcony, which was a nice bonus. (Not all rooms had them though.) The bed was very firm, not the most comfortable, but not terrible. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained overall. The bathroom had a great amount of counter space. Breakfast was good; nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but normal meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, fruit, etc. There's also a restaurant on site, but we didn't have anything but breakfast. Parking is also very convenient and easy on the property. The location is fine if you have a vehicle. It didn't seem to be walkable to anything, but that was not relevant to our needs.

Overall it was a really good stay. The elevator was a little slow at times and would leave people on upper floors hanging because it would stop at lower floors first, fill up and then come up to the higher floor with no more room for anyone to fit in. It was odd. But not a big deal.

Nice room, friendly staff, great breakfast, free parking. Enjoyed very much evening meal in Restaurant.

I liked… - the availability of parking (also Free) - the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable - the restaurant…the Best Food I had an Ansbach. Every dish was cooked correctly, delicious and very well presented. The Drinks were well poured and the Bier… well, this is Bavaria so of course the Bier is to gush over. Breakfast was always well stocked and Fresh. The coffee service for your table, hot, strong and flavorful. - The Staff! Family owned & operated. All of the staff, friendly, helpful and excellent job working through my bad German language skills. The Staff was very accommodating to the needs of my business trip. They kept my name on stand by when work brought me back to the area. Online everything in the area was booked up & I couldn’t make a reservation. I contacted Windmuhle directly and they were able to provide me a room. - Affordable! very much worth more than what they charge.

The fitness center has good cardio selection but lacks free weights. I’m just not a fan of cable machines which there is one.

All was good except temperature in the room.

Lack of air- condition. There was 28C in the room at 11pm
