Staff were lovely and helpful and provided vegan choices of houmous and olive oil instead of butter - and was great some other sweet choices that we did not need - for breakfast. In addition there were red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, walnuts, pumpkin & chia seeds, oats and sunflower seeds. The houmous was so delicious that we feel sorry for other guests! It could perhaps be offered as standard - the climate crisis necessitates a move away from meat and dairy products, towards plant-based foods.

No dislikes! We didn’t need the big bath, a shower would have been fine. The 2 sinks also felt a little bit excessive :-)

Staff were pleasant and helpful. We arrived late and although the restaurant had stopped seating they made an exception. We had a wonderful dinner (including delicious vegetarian options for me and a pork option for my spouse). The room was well kept and very comfortable.

This is a small nit. We had some difficulty finding the front entrance after we arrived by train and walked to the hotel. Perhaps add walking directions to the website.

Personal attention, e.g. help up the stairs with luggage. Interesting decor fits with the hotel building. Extensive breakfast, hot items like eggs made to order. Wasserkocher in room with supplies. New fixtures and furniture. Very clean. Comfortable bedding. Lots of lighting in room.

Stairs to upper floors were fine for us but could be a challenge for some. Ask when booking for a room on lower level if you need one.

Location, atmosphere, reception lady was very good and went out of her way to be helpful

Restaurant and bar staff professional but serious. Perhaps a little more welcoming, only a comment, not a problem.

Staff could have been friendlier

Even though we requested a room on the upper floor, our friends had a room with no view whatsoever and was on the ground floor overlooking a wooden fence with airconditiong unit

Missing a kettle In the room. Would prefer feather plllows and duvet. BBC World News would be good. Staff must be encouraged to speak English. No need to feel nervous about it!

Everything, wished we had booked 2 nights! Perfect location, central & exactly what we were looking for, for easy walking to explore this beautiful historic town.

Parking is terrible for this hotel Bathroom bathtub/shower was very difficult to get into

- It was quite pricey. - The hotel is built on different levels, so even though there is an elevator, I still had to walk stairs.

Beautiful hotel with restaurant, in a beautiful city. Everything was very good, authentic and german-like (this is a plus). The only minus (although I understand this is probably impossible due to some regulations, I am sure) - no AC.
