Lovely, characterful building an easy walk from the town centre. Our room was huge, with tall ceilings that proved beneficial in keeping the room quite cool in what was hot weather. We also enjoyed sitting outside on our balcony area. Breakfast was plentiful and was served in a delightful bar/bistro area on a lower level within the building. There was plenty of secure parking spaces at the back of the hotel. A nice touch was the fridge full of cold drinks in the reception area. Apart from soft drinks there was wine and beer, and all at sensible prices. You took what you needed and simply left money in an adjacent cash box!

The location was good, very close to everything, staff was friendly, room was spacious. There was a fan (it was a very hot day).

1) The breakfast could have had more hot veggie options, e.g. scrambled eggs, instead of just boiled eggs. There was no kettle in the room (which probably was in the description but I didn’t check for it, we’re used to having them in all the hotels, so were a bit surprised it wasn’t there).

Very clean accommodation in a green and quiet neighbourhood. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty.

In the summer without AC it can be really warm but they provide fans and there are big windows to cool down the room in the evening. Everything was great. No complaints.

Check in after 6 pm so we obtained a code, all worked fine, the room was very nice, with additional lounge area, location great - just outside the Old Town so you can easily walk there but don't have to enter it with your car. The parking space comfortable and included in the rate - perfect! Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our short stay!

Hotel Antonia lies close to the centre of Bautzen, and it is easy to walk there. The building is old, with no air-conditioning, so it was a bit too hot due to the boiling temperature outside, even though our room was on the first floor. The room is good enough for one night, quite spacious and silent, breakfast was fantastic, and the price is reasonable. I recommend this hotel.

There was no such thing.

The family room is on two levels and was plenty big. Nice modern and large bathroom with good shower. Towels were exceptional!! Probably one the best I have had in Europe. AC is only in the loft but if you sleep upstairs it's fine. It's in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the center. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. I really hope to come back and stay again.

This is a charming old building in a pleasant residential neighborhood, within walking distance of the Old Town Center. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sitting on the patio in the afternoon is pleasant, even on the hottest summer days.

Be aware that -- like most places in Europe -- there is no air conditioning and no elevator. Walking up 3 flights of stairs to get to one's room can get old. I was there during a summer heat wave, so my room got pretty warm, and I spent a lot of time out on the patio where there was at least a breeze.

The personnel of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The breakfast area was in a very nice setting with ceramic lamps and a comfortable atmosphere. It had a hominess feeling to it. Beautiful view of the city from our attic apartment. Highly recommended to those who want to spend a weekend to a full week in Bautzen and explore the area. We had a great time. Breakfast was awesome!! All personnel were friendly. Some spoke English really well. When I told them we had to leave before breakfast, they offered us a bagged breakfast which was fantastic. Our in laws live in Bautzen so we will be back!! We had a large air conditioned room. Very clean room and breakfast area. Close to restaurants, grocery, clothing stores.

Since we were there for 5 days we would have liked a small refrigerator in the room.
