The place was in a nice area, but in the middle of nowhere. We were hoping that the restaurant would be open but it was shut on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nothing in the area was open either. I am sure if we had gone on a different day things would have been different. Consequently, we did have the whole garden to ourselves (fortunately, we had some food and drink with us) which was very nice. Our room was a little cramped and not very clean in all places. There was supposed to be private parking but this was really street public parking. A bit disappointed really - the staff member we met was nice and helpful though.

Parking is not private parking, restaurant was shut, room was a little cramped made worse by the angles of the roof. Room not 100% clean.

Given the location and the name we thought there would be more local fish on the menu e.g. smoked trout. It was mainly sea-fish. The room was ok but a bit small.

The staff and owner were all very friendly and welcoming. I love sleeping with the window open (which had a screen ❤️) and listening to the birds and frogs hanging around the pond. Had a great walk through the woods oustide of town. The house is lovingly decorated and a nice mix of new renovation in the old half-timbered farmhouse.

The house was big enough for two families.

The restaurant prepared the best fish filet I've ever tasted! That alone is worth the visit.

After the arrival, there was no one there. we called the hotel but they do not speak English. We just heard: no hotel
