Near free public parking and the water. Pleasant walk into town, nice walk to the ferries, but more than a kilometer. Near to the train station. Excellent breakfast, although a little pricey.

The tourist taxes were higher than listed on Booking.com.

The Staff - The kindness and very professional Reception. Really a nice and caring approach. The handling of everything and I felt like an VIP. Mega thank you - especially to Eike Gülden for help and support, 10 stars worth.

Very comfortable room and good location for accessing the ferry to Heligoland. Comfortable beds and good extensive buffet breakfast. Secure bike storage which was a priority for us.

Overall, everything was great! The staff was super friendly, the free parking was a big plus, and the room was nice and quiet. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room.

I would hardly call it a hostel - I would say it is a hotel, and far above 3 stars! Extremely clean everywhere: both in the room and public spaces; very freiendly and helpful hotel-team. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and its variety is far above than normally expected for 3 stars. And the way the hotel encourages the guests not to order daily cleaning is so nice: each day you refuse from cleaning (by posting a special sign on the room door), they would give you a 5 EUR vaucher that can be exchanged for a drink in their bar at the reception!

Very clean and spacious room, fast and easy check-in. Very friendly staff. Everything as shall be, plus an amazing view from a large window.

Good location, will be excellent when the old harbour is further developed. Rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are amazing, very helpful and cheerful.

Queuing for breakfast and trouble finding a table to eat felt more like a hostel or school dining hall. This would be OK if the hotel price was low but the hotel is not cheap!

Functional but clean and comfortable hostel in the harbour. Parking places right in front of the hostel.
