A lovely, out of the way location overlooking a valley; beautiful view. It's a long steep way up, but once you get there, it's worth it. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and of exceptional quality. our rooms were large, great place to relax and with a balcony. Staff, all of them, were friendly and helpful especially Christine with whom we had the most contact. Hotel provides evening meals that are good and thoughtfully put together for different tastes and good drinks menu. The chefs do a great job. This was a great place to relax for a couple of day, make use of the swimming pool and saunas.

Great place to relax and unwind. Getting there by bike is a bit challenging w/ about 300 meters in altitude from Schramberg, but it is definitely worth the effort. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, perfect views, and a very nice restaurant. Very attentive and helpful staff.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. It’s clearly a family-run hotel, as the level of service is what one would expect from staying with family. We had a ‘family room’, which was very large and perfect for us, as there was a second floor just for the adults. There was, however, a spare double bed upstairs just in case the children couldn’t settle downstairs - that was a really nice touch. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the lovely view. The evening menu was varied and delicious. After a long hike each day, the restaurant and lobby were the perfect places to unwind…after visiting the pool and saunas, of course!

Not a dislike for us, but a warning: if you have a family room, the spiral staircase up to the ‘adults’ area is narrow, so I imagine that some people might struggle. That being said, Frau Haas made it clear that beds could be rearranged and there’s nothing stopping the more agile guests using the upstairs area and the less agile staying downstairs.

Quiet relaxing place, very kind staff

Love the super quiet location, this is my fourth visit and was welcomed like an old friend even though many years since my last visit. The food and wine are excellent and the Haas family are very attentive to your needs and a pleasure to visit. Good value for money for the amazing location and facilities

The room was nicely decorated, but the bathroom was a little tired. It was a little disappointing that all facilities in the Spa were not available, but I blame COVID-19 for that, not the hotel. The room size in my review is rated good, and would have been excellent as usually bigger, but I understand this is an issue with booking via booking.com. Lesson Learned :)
