We have stayed at this hotel many times because of it's proximity to the motorway, a reasonably-priced petrol station and local eateries as well as the magnificent park. The staff are welcoming, and so helpful - after our last visit they acted on feedback and my wife had a different gluten-free bread offering and we were were given a room with a lovely view of the park. As ever, the breakfast was magnificent, and whilst the bathroom is small there is plenty of hot water with a powerful shower. It seemed that they have replaced the quilts and bed linen - lovely crisp white cotton and generous, warm quilts were fabulous.

The mattress could have been more comfortable (it's a double size rather than king or queen size) and the upright chair seat is hard if one person is sitting for a while. The parking seems a little overpriced at €10 per night as it is not secure but I appreciate it is city centre so there is a premium to be paid.

Staff were pleasant, some recognised us as repeat visitors and were very friendly & welcoming. The room was very clean. The view over the park is lovely. The breakfast is excellent and very nice gluten free bread was supplied on request. Very convenient as a stopover as close to the motorway.

There is only a coffee maker, unable to make herbal teas. The hand wash in the bathroom does not smell nice, a functional product rather than a luxury version. We paid extra for a business room, we understand the the Plaza chain intend to upgrade the hotel and we recommend they consider upsizing the basic double beds as a priority. The price has increased by about 50% since they took over around 12 months ago and there is very little sign of any benefit to the customer for the extra cost.

The bed is very comfortable, good wardrobe space and very good fridge for storing own drinks etc. Bathroom small, toiletries supplied and plenty of hot water. Breakfast has good variety of hot & cold food but no gluten free bread despite requesting it and my wife was actually offered something containing gluten when she asked.

This hotel has changed hands in the last 6 months. The breakfast is not as good as it used to be, and they haven't changed the coffee makers in the room - fiddly, unsuitable for teamaking, a kettle would be much better. It is more expensive than it used to be. No English channels on the tv.

This time round (3 weeks on from my last visit) the breakfast has improved: better choice of fruit juice, very good (ripe) fruit choices and my wife was offered a choice of gluten free bread. We were allocated a room with a lovely view of the adjoining park.

The toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and handwash) weren't filled so once I got into the shower I found there was no shower gel or shampoo. The room has lots of hanging space for clothes but strangely there was only 1 shelf in the wardrobe. We stayed in a business class room both times - these are advertised as including a bathrobe and slippers but we were not given these on either visit.

The location was excellent and I felt we got food value for money. The rooms were more than adequate and well appointed.

We selected the hotel as it stated that there was a restaurant. We needed the restaurant as our daughter was too unwell to go out for dinner. When we arrived we were told it was closed. This should have been made clear at the time of booking.

Great location with nice view of the park. Very quiet.

The fan in the bathroom comes on with the light and is very loud. It is on a timer, so it doesn’t stop for quite a while after the light is turned off . This makes it difficult to use the bathroom in the night if you need light.

It’s a hotel we’ve used many times because it’s good, perfect location for our journey and there’s a nice park right there….

I think that 20 euros for a dog is too much, especially for regular customers…. Laundry has to be done regardless of who was there.

Good choices for breakfast and the room was spacious enough. Overall, a solid hotel without any "wow" factor. The perfect location for me though, as a visitor to one of the concerts of the Leonpalooza festivities.

My "Comfort room" didn't have an airconditioner, but I think the "Business" standard rooms have those. This day wasn't particular hot, but on those baking summer days, I would recommend a "Business" class room with airconditioner. Otherwise, all fine.

Check in 24 hours open was great, room spacious and clean, shower with gel shampoo and conditioner, a desk included in the room, private parking next to the hotel is also super convenient. An excellent spot to stop for a break on my trip from Italy to the Netherlands.

This hotel really deserves its four stars. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room spacious and comfortable. Parking is convenient (but costs extra and is rather small). Breakfast buffet is outstandingly good. Leonberg shopping and restaurants are very close.

Extra charge of EUR 8,00 for parking - though I had a visitor in the morning who was not charged for parking in the same car-park. That's unexpected and confusing. And although I checked in early evening, I was lucky to get the last available parking space.
