The breakfast was great and the location was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned every day. It was great that there was a lift and they even gave us a packed lunch on our last day as we missed breakfast (we had an early flight).

There is no air-conditioning in the rooms. I know that small German hotels don't usually have this feature, but with the summers getting warmer and German architecture not really designed to keep out the heat, I think it would be something to look into. That's why I couldn't give it full marks: we would come back, sweating, only to enter a sauna-like room. And yes, a standing fan was provided, but the cord was not long enough to be convenient. Also, one thing I have to mention, there were no real drawers, so not much storage possibility. Finally, the mattresses were more like futons on top of each other and we didn't find them that comfortable.

The hotel receptionist, Andrea Heumuller, gave me a ton of help when I was desperate at the condition of my backpack being stolen in the train and I lost my passport, laptop, and cash. Luckily, I had my cellphone and wallet with me. Problems were that I had a very important business visit the morning next day and I will have to take three flights in the next five days. Therefore, I will need to quickly get my temporal passport from Taiwan Representative Office in Frankfurt the next day and managed to make a presentation without my laptop the next morning. Andrea contacted a taxi driver and made sure he could take me to the right store still opening at 9:00 pm and send me back hotel after shopping. She also called to the store asking them to help me quickly locating the position displaying USB Disk and cell phone charger. With the USB disk, I can download my presentation files from cloud through a computer. With the charger, I can continue use my cellphone to contact people and manage things. Back to hotel, I asked Andrea if I can borrow their office PC for 10 minutes to download files. Andrea said since she did not get permission from her manager so that she refused my proposal of using hotel’s PC. Magically, she rushed to her nearby home, brought me her own laptop. I was about to cry and I completed my file download in 10 minutes with her constant help on communicating from Deutsch to English shown on the screen. I couldn’t imagine how I can finish these urgent tasks in a short period of time without Andrea’s help. When things were taken care, I found out I need a dinner. She said that almost all restaurants in Lippstadt stopped their business by 10 pm. Again, she called to some restaurants and found out that they could provide service to me if I can reach the restaurant soon. Since she already finished her shift and the next staff was on job, she walked me to the restaurant and made sure I could have my dinner served.

Loved the location and the decor! I love the ability to open the window and the bed + blanket was very comfy! Breakfast was so lovely and the staff very friendly!

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, friendliness of the staff and also location because it is only 10 minutes away to train station by walking.

Difficult to park, garage is not clearly signed and you need to check in before being allowed to use it, which means you have to find a parking space first

Everything was excellent and taking in consideration that my staying was just few hours after the tornado passed through the town employees were so helpful and very kind. Breakfast was also excellent. Next time I visit Lippstadt I'll book again same place.

Paid for parking. But when i arrived back at the hotel later the parking was full... Did get a refund though.

The 3 elements that confirmed the plus status is the fantastic breakfast, the bathroom in the room, and the clock projection on the ceiling.

The lobby could be more comfy visually, by windows for example.

The breakfast was fantastic, the location just perfect, comfy beds and very clean rooms. Very easy to check in and out, convenient parking in the basement (8 euro per night). Staff very polite and helpful :)
