Picturesque traditional timber frame house in a quaint village setting. Plenty of parking behind the hotel and free of charge. Scrumptious Swabian food served in the restaurant and delicious coffee/breakfast buffet in the morning.

The room was very small and due to the age and style of the building, the walls are not very soundproof.

I liked the Decor it was very much set up to give you a feel for the olden days had a nice Beer Garden where you could have a drink and dinner

The access to the top floor was a bit too steep and narrow especially when you have to take 4 suitcases up and back down the room height was a bit low and on the angle off the pitch of the roof it caused me to hit my head a few times as for the location there is not much to do and the aircon didn’t have a remote that you could turn it to cooler it was set at 22.5 degrees which was still pretty warm during the night

Despite the room is located in a very old building (the house built in 1560), it is comfortable, warm, and has all the amenities working properly. Everything is clean, including the bathroom. The highlight of the stay is the traditional restaurant located directly in the same house.

Not really a concern, but the shower cabin is not too big, but still fit for purpose.

The house is old, cozy and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Their restaurant offers some absolutely delicious local mealvarieties. The breakfast, even though relatively simple, consists of delicious coldcuts, cheese, fruits, veggies and yoghurt.

Because it's an old house, the rooms are quite noisy.

The place is really nice and the rooms and the bathroom were sparkling clean. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was very very good and tasty. The village around seems nice but we did not see much as it rained.

The stairs to reach the last floor where our rooms were are a little too steep and the kids were a little scared to use them

Beautiful old building. We had a family room for two adults and two children and had plenty of space. Really a perfect experience.

The hotel restaurant did offer one (delicious) vegan option, but the menu was overall rather meet oriented. It would be great to see more vegan and vegetarian options.

The breakfast was very good. The room was large and spacious. The location is good. The village is remote but the hotel is in the middle of the village. The building is old but beautiful with half-timbered facades. There is a lot of parking space at the back of the hotel. Although that can be busy due to visitors of the restaurant.

We had the top floor, which means a lot of stairs, and some doors are a little low for someone tall like myself. In other words, not too much to complain about.

Very authentic Gasthof I got a room on 3rd floor and was difficult for me to climb stairs Good food and very helpful staff in the morning who served us breakfast

Very nice 15c hotel with additional rooms behind the main building but still in very old buildings, lovely top floor room with mezzanine floor and an additional bed , lovely views from every window of the old village.

Breakfast was good. The hotel is a monumental place, built somewhere in 1400 and it is a kind of charm to experience an old architecture. The staff was very friendly in accommodating us.

We got the rooms 34 and 35 on top, which I would not prefer in Summer as they are very hot and thus not comfortable while you are in the room. If nights are cold you could enjoy cold breeze coming from the room's balcony.
