The hotel was located beside the dikes on the North Sea coast. It was possible to walk along the coastline and over the tidal flats. The staff was helpful, and the room was clean and cosy. Check-in and check-out were also quick and easy.

The restaurant was not as good as expected. Although the food was lovely and tasty, it was quite warm inside, and we did not have any simple solution for the sun hitting us right in the eye. Also, I think because of the coastline nearby, flies were abundant.

Very kind and professional staff, beautifully designed rooms (with a nice view in front of the sea!), and delicious food. The breakfast table was artfully designed: it was a joy kick-starting my journey at the hotel!

Hotel is located at the ferry terminal. Room has no view of the ocean.

The place is beautifully situated between the Speicherbecken and the ocean. The interior was designed with care and love for detail. The beds are amazing - so comfortable!!! And the food in the restaurant is superb, as is the breakfast with a great variety. The staff is so friendly and welcoming- you feel like you are at home immediately.

These are more suggestions than complaints: - A towel rack in the bathroom instead of just hooks would be lovely - Unfortunately due to staff shortage they had to close the restaurant for three days a week now. We hope that they will be able to reopen soon on all days so that more people can enjoy the good food and the view during afternoon coffee and cake. But for the time being it would be great if they created a little area in the hotel where hotel guest could make themselves some coffee and tea. - More programms on TV would be great. - And finally: The internet could use a 21rst century upgrade - or at least a steady connection. A final hint: The rooms are located overlooking the parking lot (very peaceful at night) and the Speicherbecken or the Deich. To see the ocean enjoy the spectacular view from the breakfast room - or just strap on your shoes and take the few steps it takes to be right at the ocean itself.
