This is such an amazing place to stay! Perfect hotel to rest, de-stress, recharge and enjoy! It is situated in the middle of little, beautiful and very quaint village. You feel like you stepped in another world and you just don't want to leave. Great facilities, absolutely amazing, delicious food (the breakfast spread is out-of-this-world fantastic!!!!), great staff, easy parking, the best night of sleep ever! It is not our first time here and we can not wait to be back! Absolutely love it!

After riding 600 km on a motorbike I made a stopover in Zum Koch before the final leg. I was quite exhausted and overheated. The spa in the hotel did its miracle. After soaking for half an hour in a warm swimming pool, spending time in a Turkish steam chamber and in a Finnish sauna and afterwards having fruit tea with some fruit I got completely revitalised. The dinner a la carte was very good, although a bit pricy for for a mototraveller. Note if you need some snacks or beverages in your room overnight, buy them beforehand as there are no shops or kiosks in the proximity of the hotel. All in all excellent!

My favourite Hotel during my business trips. After a long drive the pool and the sauna are perfect for relaxation, and never overcrowded. If you have a room with a balcony the view is spectacular. The room design maybe not the most modern or an exquisite style but has a harmony with the place. The staff is very friendly and helpful all the time. The dinner options are on the expensive side, but if you want to close your long journey with a perfect gastro experience that doesn't matter. I'm a frequent traveller and I have to say the breakfast is stellar the best so far compared to any hotel, so you can hit the road with the delicious bites what you had in your mind until you reach your next destination.

Usually, I have something negative or neutral to say, but this is my 4th time at Zum Koch with a reason. You have mini gummy bear welcome gift and a bottle of water parting gift for the road. Only positive vibes I have :)

Friendly staff , clean , good service , very nice facilities and surroundings.

No Air Conditioning or ventilation in room , shared small terrace with three other rooms . Small room for four stars hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The wellness area is huge, with several saunas and relaxing rooms, warm indoor pool, offering massages and several beauty treatments. The food was excellent! My time spent here was just perfect.

Breakfast it was ok. Everything a person can wish at the breakfast. No coment.. The room also OK, real confort.!

For a 4 stars hotel room without air condition is a big minus.!!! The ventilator that replace the air condition I have received it at the room but it does not work so for the future..."diesen technischen details wird kaum beachtung geschenkt...".! 😉

Staff not rude but not friendly either. They could do a lot better with a smile on their face! We called the hotel several hours that we are running late. When we arrived were kept at the door. We called the hotel but there was nobody at the reception. We kept waiting for a long time. I had to go through the kitchen door to look for somebody to give us our keys. When the guy showed up he did not even apologise. In the breakfast, one of the staff was not friendly at all. she was clearly annoyed when I went to the wrong table by mistake!! I think some of the staff need some improvement in attitude!

The staff. The 4 different Saunas, with lots of relaxation beds and chairs with inclusive post mix juices and tea choices. The bar and cocktail choice, the breakfast is top. The restaurant is top quality too.

Ok the cheaper rooms are so for a reason, I didnt realise when I booked. You do hear the neighbours. So go for the suites! Or spend most of your time in the Wellness area.

The food, the bed, the wellness, the staff, the whole experience was high quality as always, that is why I come back to this place regularly.

I can mention nothing at the moment, go, visit the place and try it yourself.

Very comfortable suite, amazing breakfast, very nice spa area, fancy restaurant, bar. My best experience around Passau area.
