The room was very comfortable, cleanliness was tops, the hotel staff were very helpful. I had a car, the fact that there is a private parking lot is very convenient. You have to pay for parking but the price is very reasonable. All in all it was a very good stay.

The location is great, right in the middle of the old town. Facilities exactly as advertised. I loved the history of the place. There's an old part and a new part, I preferred the old part, double windows, wooden floors that creak, yet with all the modern conveniences one would expect. Exceptionally spacious old rooms.

Be aware that the old part faces onto a busy road and delivery vehicles start their rounds early in the morning so if you're a late sleeper you'd be advised to book into the new part of the hotel as it's out to the back and away from the main road.

Breakfast was exceptional value for money and served in an elegant dining room. the room size was good and we had a nice view of the river from our window. This hotel is in the historic area of this picturesque town. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, the evening barman was a credit to the hotel.

Very polite and professional staff. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was in good condition. Super breakfast. Off street parking. Great location for the town. A peaceful night.

An extra pillow would have been good to have available.. I’m sure if I asked it wouldn’t have been a problem..also tea making facilities would have been good to have in room

The hotel was great! It had all that we needed for a short stay and all the staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel made sure that I had gluten free options for breakfast, which we enjoyed a lot. We loved the style of the historical building, the bar and the restaurant.

Nothing to complain, great value for money.

We didn’t want breakfast but they said twice it was already included, so we had it. Options were very limited and then in the end we were charged extra for the poor breakfast we didn’t want.

NIce, old building. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast with a reasonable price.

The staff could be more friendly. There is a bar for smokers just next to the reception. Thanks to that the entire reception area smells like smoke.

Nice hotel, nice personal who did what they could - a single breakfast waitress / receptionist for a fully booked hotel? Seriously? Clean and quiet place to stay.
