Everything was clean, clean table clothes and welcomed and careful service. We had enjoyed the pool table and football table.

We had a room at attic/penthouse so there was very hot and only two little roof windows. This room would deffinitely need an aircondition unit. We spent 8 days and some of days were very hot. One day was raining havily in the night, air got colder but we had to close tje window because it was raining right into our bed.

The breakfast was exceptionally good. There was a great variety of foods, and everything prepared and presented with such care that we all came away feeling ready for a wonderful day. Also, though we came in a car, it is good to know that the hotel is an easy walk to the train and the restaurants/shops around there. Lastly, my experience was enhanced by the welcoming and accommodating manner of the staff at this lovely hotel. I had to arrive later than planned, and they called me to make sure I would know where to pick up my room key after hours. A great experience--we will stay again for sure!

The stairs are steep, it's not near anything. No information on restaurants.

RECEPTION WAS NOT STAFFED AND WE COULD NOT CONTACT. even a local had to ring twice

We couldn't reach the hotel reception to do check-in - ringing on doors, calling, email, ... nothing worked. After ca 1 hour after long call (ringing the phone maybe for a minute) sb took it but not speaking english. After some german discussion finally english speaker available - probably owner of the hotel. Got info that our room is not available, since by mistake someone else got our key and is using the room now. He tried to find another hotel, but nothing was free in the same city so we had to move ca 12km away - in the evening with children. Thanks to this manager we got good accomodation finally, but the experience was really very bad - one point is the mistake with the key, but the second one is the bad communication and missing working reception in the hotel.
