Delicious breakfast, kind smiles and service

There was a slight unfavorable scent in the room, but it didn't bother me as much as my partner (we opened the window and it made it better). After doing so however, we translated the sign on the window that and it said "Please don't open the window." Apologies! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and highly recommend!

The mattress was comfortable, but the bed was very low to the floor and difficult to get up from it. Also, we were senior travelers (father, 88 & daughter, 62) and did not realize at time of booking that a ground floor room was a more expensive choice. The stairs were very difficult to manage with several pieces of luggage, as there is no elevator.

We spent 6 nights last week at the hotel and it was a very good choice because after the 1st night I explained that for my back I needed a higher bed. They swiftly solved the problem by offering us a three -roomed apartment with cooking facilities etc but at the same price we had paid for a standard double room, plus they added on the daily breakfasts. My bed problems were solved and we had a very happy experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful, and the owner/manager spoke excellent English. Parking was also no problem and as the hotel was within easy walking distances to 5 different restaurants our evenings ended well too. All in all, it was a 5-star experience, and as owners of a BnB on Bornholm we could really appreciate the attention we got. If it was possible we would have given it a 14 out of 10 score. Needless to add we highly recommend staying there.

After the 1st night we asked for a diffrerent bed as ours was too low for my husband. They not only gave us a great bed but upgraded us to a whole apartment! Unexpected but extrememly appreciated.

The staff were so friendly, I asked for a kettle in my room, no trouble at all. A candle was lit at your table for breakfast. A lovely little touch.Beautiful breakfast, plenty of fresh produce to choose from. I can only say thank you for such a lovely stay.

The staff have been very friendly trough out and the breakfast was super. Plenty to choose from and a lot of variety. I especially liked the environmentally friendly touch to it.

We had rooms facing the street and it was quite noisy from the early morning hours as we had the window open during the night.

Nice location, very clean, triple room was spacious incl. large sofa, well stocked up mini bar, brand new bathroom, nice small touched such as umbrella in room, digital tablet etc.

Lot of surcharges: baby cot, extra 15 euro, late check out extra 15 euro etc. Breakfast is sufficient, but very minimalistic. Offered communication in English, but in reality staff only spoke german.

Friendly welcome, nice room, spotless clean. Perfect location (old town, restaurants, harbour, etc.). Tiefgarage with perfect space for bicycles. Very good breakfast. Would book again.

Simple but good breakfast (pick your style of eggs, decent vegetarian options) and drip coffee with option to buy other coffee drinks. Flexible breakfast times could be booked with reserved tables. Good Corona safey measures. Room was quiet at night and during day with windows closed. Fast internet. Cold minifridge. Curtains keep the room very dark and with windows closed its really quiet even with plenty of other guests in the hotel. Friendly staff.

No frills room with 90s decor (but what do you expect for such a great price). Advertised double bed was actually 2 singles moved together, but that's normal in Germany. The TV was really small and had no smart apps/connectivity. Shower head clogged so only had one spray setting. Shower gel seemed a bit cheap. Sauna is 15€/person. No lighting dimmer.

This is the best place for a short vacation. The personnel is friendly; the room is quiet, and the breakfast is lovely.
