Spacious room, accesible pool (although a bit small), decent breakfast, silence

On the first day we got there, there was a very strong smell of farm animals that only went away late at night. Thankfully, it never came back, but we had to stay in the room with our windows closed because outside it was unbreathable. The restaurant dinner options are very limited (especially for people with intolerances/allergies), tasteless, and extremely expensive. The indoor pool smelled very strongly of men's cologne (on all days we were there, so it was not from another guest), so we preferred being outdoors.

The whole place was amazing. The location (right on the sea shore, with its own little private beach), the hotel itself, the room (huge senior suite with terrace), everything was close to perfection. All the staff were great. The receptionist kindly offered us a drink while we went through the check-in paperwork together -- nice touch :-) We ate at the hotel's restaurant every evening and the food was great. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I have ever seen, in terms of choice, quality and presentation.

The bed had some plastic protection between the sheets and the mattress. This gave a "slippery" feeling to the sheet and also caused some weird noise when one moved inside the bed. It also blocked the air flow underneath the sheets, which was quite uncomfortable. (I can't image how it would feel if the weather was warmer and more humid.) This is the only hotel where I ever encountered this issue. Nevertheless, I don't want to "downgrade" my rating just for this reason.

Wonderful, friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was rich and varied. There were even gluten free rolls. The peace and quiet surrounding the hotel are priceless. The Bodenklause, the hotel pub, is a cozy place with a friendly owner, who can make your stay even better.

Loved the reception area, very, very tastefully furnished with sofas and cushions - very comfortable. Restaurant was also exceptional with a lovely view of Baltic Sea, food offer was excellent and extremely tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms, modern and clean.

Breakfast excellent . The Chef who made the omelettes was excellent The dinner was good but more variety would be better.

The room was beautiful. The cleaning service was not upto the mark. They left the room partially done on the 2nd day. The distances for the major tourist areas was quite a bit and had t travel a distance to visit all the quaint towns like Sellin, the national park and Binz

Cozy, right by the Baltic Sea, very nice rooms and all common areas, very friendly and helpful staff, tasty food, paddle boards that can be rented, amazing nature around

The beach is not really for swimming, rather enjoying the view (sea grass, lots of mosquitos). The pub/restaurant prices are high.

Resort ambience was excellent. Staff was very friendly and supportive. Location is super convenient and private beach at location just makes it better. Ample outdoor space to either exercise or just wander around. Spa is superb but pool was not warm so may be something that could be improved. Breakfast is super tasty with live egg (porn) counter :) counter adds icing on the cake. We were by car so everything seemed very reachable without much traffic.

It is a great resort at a beautiful surrounding. The room was nice, the breakfast was amazing with lots of options. They also care about the small details, like offering mosquito spray when you leave the building. The beach and the garden was very well maintaned.

The sauna opening hour was not clear, so we couldn't use it in the morning.

-Reception personnel could be more friendly and welcoming -Only the living room had insect net- we had to close the window in the bedroom at night. We were lucky that it wasn’t warm during our stay

I can definitely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a quiet and a quality place where you can easily forget about everyday's trouble. It is in the middle of nowhere, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic breakfast not to forget.
