Plenty of space for family of 4! Tall ceilings with a tall walk-in shower for the tall people.

I was upset that the restaurant wasn't open even though the evening we were there showed it would be open. Didn't realize the property emailed a door code until I called them up on arrival. Couldn't find a person to check out at first. It took a few minutes to locate someone. No air conditioning thermostat in the individual room, but we're able to open the windows without too many bugs coming in. The bathroom window bordered the smaller bedroom and the light was very bright from the bathroom shining into the bedroom.

Super duper spacious room! We got room no. 16, which was better than we expected. The staff were nice. Lot of dinner options- nice pizza nearby. Smart TV. Spectacular view.

Poor breakfast- dry bread, not enough vegetables, no variety, even though, we were offered scrambled eggs. Strange design in multiple levels. Lot of stairs and no elevator. No dinner at the hotel restaurant on the day we checked in. The TV wasn’t in English language (no option).

Our room (booked as "Dreibettzimmer") turned out to be a large modern apartment with one large bedroom (with double bed) and a single bed located between an open-plan dining and living area (with sofa), separated by curtain from the very same. Next to the dining area there was a kitchen (equipped with cutlery and plates for 4 and also pots and all necessary utensils to make a meal apart from e.g. cooking oil). Tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. Separate bathroom with shower over bath, fairly-sized. Towels, shampoo and soap were being provided (no tissues though). The whole apartment was sparkly clean. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide range of options (incl. fresh fruit) and also e.g. scrambled eggs and other delicious options were freshly made-to-order as well. We had a nice view of the castle from our room and this prompted us to visit the very same after breakfast before we continued our journey.

Be aware that the stairs are quite steep. We had an elderly person in our company and it was a challenge to get up and down. No shower curtain in the bathroom. Communication could be improved, especially regarding check-in.

Good location. Free parking. The room was clean, spacious, nice and equipped with everything what we need. The bed is amazingly soft and comfortable - love that especially! We had really good breakfast. And i must highlight the lovely staff.

Large nice room. We needed a stop on our cartrip and followed the good recommendations on booking. They were correct about this nice place.

We stayed with the 3 of us at the Comfort Vierbettzimmer, which has a great view on the castle! Very spacious apartment with a nice kitchen for a reasonable price. Great beds. Had a nice meal at the Greek 'Sirtaki', because the hotel restaurant was closed on Sundays. Free parking close to the hotel. We did a nice (but steep) walk to the castle and around the town: crossing the Auma river multiple times.

We knew we had to take the stairs, but it was indeed quite a climb on the circulair stairs to the top floor - no elevator. Personnel could be a bit more friendly. No shower curtain or screen, so the bathroom becomes a mess. After the first day we skipped the breakfast: for EUR 33,- for 3 persons we prefered a local bakery. Apartment kitchen was not so well equiped, but we did not really use it anyway. Although the room was really great, somehow the atmosphere of the hotel was not the way we like it.

Nice and clean apartment, food in the restaurant was good.

Everything was fine, the staff doesn’t speak that much English but it worked out fine anyway.

Authentic and clean

The owner - Steffen and the lovely lady that took our breakfast orders every morning were great and really good cooks. The room we had was like a pent house it was that big. Loved it!
