We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Macedon; it truly felt like a second home! The location is perfect: close to everything, but still really peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the garden is just beautiful. What made our stay extra special was the kindness and warmth of the people running the hotel (thanks a million to Harris, Muharrem, and all their colleagues). They were always smiling, ready to help, and gave us great tips about where to go and what to do around the island. It’s rare to feel so genuinely welcomed, and we’re so grateful for that. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with everything fresh and nicely presented. If you're planning a trip to Thassos, don’t think twice—Hotel Macedon is a wonderful choice. We can’t wait to come back!

Centrally located, you can easily walk to center. Staff was very kind. Building old but the rooms are renovated and modern decorated. There are a little fridge in the room so you can keep your drinks cold. Breakfast was ok. Room was cleaned every day. Cleaning was quite good.

Swimming pool seems brand new at the photos but its quite old. We didn’t use pool we always prefer beautiful beaches but if you like swimming pool you should know. The entire bathroom was closed with a cabin and separated from the room. Since it was not a separate bathroom, it created a slight odor and stuffiness in the room.

First of all, I would like to thank the hotel owner Elena, her son Micha (I may have misheard his name, they can write the correct one and correct it :) ) and the friendly hotel employee Muarrem for their interest and concern. They showed incredible hospitality. We had a slight disappointment on our first day, as the hotel pool was not yet open. According to the information we had, it was supposed to open by the end of May 28. We had hoped to enjoy the pool with our young child. However, this was due to circumstances beyond Elena’s control, and both Elena and Muarrem explained the situation to us. Mr. Muarrem brought us apricots he had picked from the garden with his own hands. Mrs. Elena expressed her regret every time she saw us, out of embarrassment. She showed us so much attention that it felt like visiting an elderly relative we hadn't seen in a long time. As a gesture of goodwill and apology, they even offered us an extra day's stay for free since we couldn't use the pool. They were such kind and gracious people that they even gave us a small gift (extra virgin olive oil). What I’m trying to say is that they didn’t brush off the potential issues that could arise in any hotel, and they were generous enough to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

It would have been better to have elevator for some rooms. But it is quite hard to have one due to design of otel. It is not a must but nice to have. And wc's/bathroom doors might be more isolated.

We stayed at Macedon Hotel for 8 nights with our dog and it was wonderful! The hotel has enough parking available, mostly in the shade, the surroundings are peaceful, but still close to the restaurants and shops of Limenas or the ferry port. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, we had a big balcony perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from and was served by the pool. The owners of the hotel made everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible and made us feel so welcome, like we were visiting a couple of friends. We had a very nice vacation and will certainly be back.

Lovely, quaint, quiet hotel. Pool area really nice with plenty of very good quality sunbeds an umbrellas and other seating options. Very nice shaded area with hammock and swing seat. Breakfast was really nice and was plentiful and varied and much of the food was home cooked/home made an the breakfast area was nice, ie outside but shaded. We were so well looked after by the owners ('Harri, Mike and Alexandra' ) and their staff and made to feel so welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were serviced every day and to a very high standard. Although the hotel is very near to the port we had a heavy suitcase and were picked up on arrival and taken back to the port on departure. We were only 5 minutes walk from a variety of restaurants an only 10 minutes from further restaurants and the town centre. We felt that their "tag line" that said "you arrive as guests and leave as friends" was very true and we will definitely return.

The Breakfast was great and much more than we expected. There was a lot of home made food that was always fresh and very tasty. The natural orange juice was there for unlimited use. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS HOSPITALITY OF THE HOSTS AND THAT WHY I'M GOING TO COME AGAIN.

Maybe to have bigger parking lot but not necessary. Also in near future to build bigger rooms or to connect two of those already existing one for bigger families.

Great little world 5-10 mins walk from everything in Limenas. The breakfast was buffet style and a little different every day and featured some of my family's favourites both on the savoury and sweet side. End of July after a heat wave there were no muskitos, parking was readily available, often in the shade, WiFi was consistently good, the air conditioning was strong and it was spotless clean everywhere. To top it all, the owners were super friendly and helpful and the island is a hidden gem.

The peaches in the beautiful garden were not ripe yet.

Perfect location, 3 minute walk from the ferry port. All Limena's amenities, bar and restaurants are within 15 min walking distance maximum. Nice and clean rooms, fully air-conditioned, comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of pies, sweets, sandwiches, all homemade on the day. What stood out the most though was the hospitality of the staff and especially the manager mr Haris. Nice family owned hotel. Haris went above and beyond to provide information for us and assist, even calling other locals to provide information for us! By far the most hospitable and best host i've ever experienced

Highly recommended hotel, which has great location, smiley faces all over, very clean and great price performance ratio. Great location, just a couple of min walking distance to many restaurants, supermarket, ferry and the main entertaining area. Special thanks to Harris and his family to make us feel warmly welcomed also for recommendations, information about the island as well as for the nice gift. Such people like you make the world better place to live on! Would visit again gladly .

The best choice I could have made. The owners of the hotel behave like friends, they make you feel at home and are very, very hospitable. It is a family business where you find passion. Breakfast is varied, with fresh pies cooked every morning, in the traditional way, fresh orange juice and much more. The hotel is quiet, the hotel courtyard offers several spaces for relaxation, both for adults and children. Most of the people I talked to are loyal customers, with a history of 15.16 years of visits to this hotel. It also excels in terms of cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned daily. You will not regret if you choose this hotel. We will definitely return to Macedon Hotel. 10/10 ⭐️
