I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Lindos Athena. The room was very clean and comfortable, working air-con, mini-kitchen with the basics e.g. tea-making facilities, fridge to keep water cold etc. Staff are very polite, helpful, friendly and relaxed. Pool area is lovely, plenty of available sun loungers (though I was there mid-May, it's maybe busier in other summer months). The property is approx. 15 min walk from Lindos town - I didn't mind this walk but there is one steep hill that would be challenging if you are unfit or have mobility issues. On the way down to Lindos there is the bus stop where you can catch a bus to Rhodes and other neighbouring towns. St Paul's Bay also just a 15-20min walk. It's a nice quiet area at night. The kitchen serves great food almost all day if you don't feel like going into Lindos for your meals. The bar also stays open pretty late, but it's not loud or disruptive to sleep.

It would be nice to have the little cardboard door handle notices to tell the cleaners when we don't need any cleaning services on a particular day. This would help reduce unnecessary towel replacement/washing and therefore save energy :-)

We booked on the day as we decided we wanted to stay in lindos for the evening after visiting St pauls bay as we were travelling round Rhodes on mopeds. It was quick and easy. Staff were so friendly. Drinks at pool bar were great. Room was basic but clean and had everything we needed for our stay. So close to Lindos old town and staff were happy to order our taxi in the evening to the door. Would stay again!

We loved the location we had daughters with us so booked 2 rooms on top floor for purpose of panoramic view. The area is really rural with an authentic Greek vibe. It’s a perfect location within walking distance of lindos acropolis & St. Paul’s bay The view from our bed of the acropolis was outstanding The rooms have a beautiful authentic Greek feel We loved our stay We’d most definitely go back

Lovely stay at Lindos Athena. The grounds were beautiful and the pool area was really clean. Spacious room with a private balcony. George and Theo and the rest of the staff were super friendly. 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Lindos and less than a 10 minute taxi into Pefkos. There’s a massive shop next door which is super handy! The food and drinks were really nice and good value.

People reserved sunbeds at 5am and a lot of people left their towel all day and didn’t turn up. If you get to the pool after 9am you’d struggle to get one with an umbrella in peak season (plenty on the grass in the sun). A minor point though as we got up early enough to get a sunbed every day!

Lindos Athene is a family hotel near Lindos, quietly situated in beautiful surroundings. When you enter the complex like we did in May you are intoxicated by the fantastic smell of jasmine and everything is in bloom. The garden with olive trees, many flowering plants and a truly beautiful lawn is wonderfully beautiful and very well maintained by a gardener. The apartments are well furnished and very clean, there is very good cleaning in all areas from the apartment to the complex. The swimming pool is beautiful and there are beautiful wooden beds and beautiful parasols all made of wood and beautiful natural colours. The seats / benches are nicely decorated with cushions and there are nice accessories. All employees are genuinely warm and friendly and have a heart for the business. There is a dog walking around and that is really great, he belongs to the complex, I have never experienced such a sweet nice dog. He does not bark, he is quiet, great Compliments that you do this. There is ample parking at the complex and next to the complex is a small shop where you can buy everything you need. During our stay I noticed that guests come here who have been coming for years.... that also says something about how good it is at this place. Compliments

We liked the location. Lindos is a beautiful little town but it gets very busy with bus-loads of tourists. The hotel itself is within easy walking distance of the town, its tavernas and the beaches but is sufficiently set away that the locality is peaceful. For those who really don't want to walk, there is a buggy service that takes people down into the town. And for those who like to explore the countryside there is a footpath into the local hills. There is a very convenient little supermarket just outside the hotel grounds. Helpful and polite staff too.

Nice cozy place near Lindos town. Bear in mind that the hotel is not inside the Lindos town, you need 10-15 minutes by walk to get to the town, but this was not even a downside for me. The place is really clean,, having the pool and a garden is also very good add on. Supermarket is also there so you can buy whatever you need. Theo and Sam were great hosts, we even had few drinks together during my stay, really enjoyed it!

We had a two week holiday staying in Ixia and decided to stay in Lindos for two nights. We booked this hotel because it had parking available right next to it and it was about a ten minute walk into the centre and a twenty minute walk to the beauiful beach. We didn’t know what to expect as it was only 50 euro per night , but we had read very good reviews , that were not wrong at all. Firstly the whole place is spotless , with a lovely pool , very good comfortable sun-beds , nice bar area , and very friendly, accommodating staff. The room was lovely , with washed white walls, a full fridge , great little hair dryer and kettle . The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless . There was a lovely view over the gardens and of the acropolis from the balcony . The balcony isn’t too private , but that didn’t bother us at all , we were out all day and preferring to sit at the bar area for a couple of drinks upon our return from a night out. We enjoyed it that much , we booked an additional nights stay. The full English breakfasts were large and very nice. This family hotel is an absolute gem , the best 150 euros we spent !!!! Thinking of booking a week next year so can explore more of Rhodes.

Large room with kettle and fridge. Balcony with garden and pool view so I could keep an eye on sunbed availability! Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels when required. Excellent pool for cooling off with bar and breakfast / lunchtime food. Food and drink were competitively priced and good quality. Very friendly staff. Lovely laid back vibe.

There were “sun bed savers” the first week. People were putting towels on the beds by the pool very early and then not turning up until lunchtime. The situation improved the second week. I guess it depends on who is staying at the time. My only gripe really.

It has a great family feel & was very clean! Loungers were available when we needed them so no fighting for beds! The food was perfect. The staff were friendly, even when we had to check in very late in the early hours! Location wise it’s a 15 minute walk into Lindos, which is a breathtaking place. We sadly only had a short stay at Lindos Athena as we had to get back home but would recommend to everyone, it seemed very safe for solo travellers too.

We only slight negative is that we found the beds quite uncomfortable but they did the job!
