Spiros at the front desk was very friendly and kind and took the time to explain things to me. The apartments were well-equipped, spacious and with a great layout so you had privacy but could also chat to people if you wanted to. The seats on the porch were comfortable and great to overlook the pool. There was a coffee machine with tea/coffee provided. Great shower-powerful and warm. The pool was cool and very clean with lovely comfortable sun loungers-some with shading if you want it. So relaxing. Very handy location- close to bus stops/mini mart/beach/restaurants all within a short walking distance.

The bed could be more comfortable, it was a little firm for me. The wardrobe behind the door was a bit awkward in the bedroom to open. I felt safe in the accomodation but felt I needed to close the shutters completely if going out as the windows alone were not very strong. The road at night is not very well lit and busy with traffic driving fast so you have to be very careful walking along this to the strip. The TV only had 2-3 channels and no chance to connect to anything else.

Where to start. We didn’t expect much, but this place, especially the 2 amazing women who made this place memorable! Big shoutout to Maria and Sofia! Without them this place will be just and ordinary accommodation. They are such a pure souls full of smiles and positive energy. Carrying about every single guest. Bringing people together. Giving them memories for life time ❤️ They made us feel so welcome from the first minute and we’ll never be thankful enough for it ❤️ also thank you our lovely chef Pavlina (hope i spell it right, if not im sorry)! Always making sure we have enough of everything! Apartment is cozy, bed comfortable. Nice and clean pool and jacuzzi. I have nothing negative to say! I will recommend it 1000x! And we will be back 🫶🏻

Well, where do I start. We stayed at Ambeli Apartments for 3 nights on a short trip to Santorini. We were met by Maria- Flora who couldn't have been more welcoming. I have been in contact with the Apartments via booking.com and WhatsApp where we they answered any questions I had. Maria made us freshly squeezed orange juice and offered dus time to relax before starting the checking in process. Maria has good knowledge of Santorini and was able to provide us with recommendations of places to visit and trips to go on. The room was small busy cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Housekeeping attended everyday providing us with new towels and Maria had even popped in some beach towels just incase we forgot ours. It really is these little touches that make the difference. We had breakfast each morning wich was including in our VERY reasonable price and this consisted of a small hot and cold buffet, bacon, eggs and sausage, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, salad and cheese. Tea, coffee, juice and water was also available. A lovely welcome from Maria in the mornings with the offer of taking our plates and getting us any additional food. The pool was lovely and clean, cold but not unbearable and there were plenty of sun beds with shade and in the sun. It really is a small piece of paradise, especially for a couple. We also met Sofia, who arrived in the evenings when Maria would leave. What a kind hearted lady she is. Myself and my partner where relaxing in the hot tub and Sofia brought us two glasses of wine, some crisps and nuts and a small gesture to enjoy. I've never been anywhere like this. We had wine left.ourside our room, cakes made by Sofia and brought to us and Maria even gave us drinks on our last day to enjoy by the pool. These ladies really are a credit to Ambeli and if you are reading this and thinking about booking, you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to come back. Overall 11 out of 10 from us, Ambeli and the girls are a real gem.

We loved our stay here, it was absolutely amazing. We felt like visiting a family - Maria, Sofia and Pavlina took such a great care of us and went far beyond what they needed to do. The apartment was properly cleaned every day, enjoying breakfast and having a little chat was a great way to start the day. The location was perfect, you have a mini market 1-2 minutes away where they have more or less all you need and the Perivolos beach is probably the best in the island with good access to the sea and free umbrellas if you have a drink / food in the restaurant (always better to ask though). Really perfect holiday!

Wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5. If you’re reading this because you want to know if you should book there, just book, trust me! My wife and I have spent a week there and we absolutely loved it. This was probably the best hospitality we have ever received when staying at an hotel/apartment. Maria and Sofia made our stay extremely pleasant and they gave us really good recommendations. The breakfast is really good, the location is great. However, note that this is not close to Fira or Oia but the area is very nice nonetheless. I really recommend visiting nearby beaches of Vlychada and Agios Giorgios and the village of Emporeio, it was my favorite in Santorini! The apartment was extremely comfortable. Everything is super clean and we really liked it there. The highlight of Ambeli apartments aside from the great hospitality is the pool and the hot tub. It’s just fantastic honestly! My wife and I would go back in a heartbeat and we are extremely pleased with our stay at Ambeli apartments :) Oh and there is also excellent wifi and a parking!

The best part of our stay in Ambeli Apartment was the staff! Everyone was so nice and helpful, always available! Very clean rooms. The breakfast was simple but incredibly delicious, especially the best fresh orange juice ever! The swimming pool is quite good. The beach is within walking distance.

Our apartment was quite small, even though we stayed 2 adults and a kid. I believe some details should be added so guests could feel more like at home. Also The hotel is on the road. There is no sidewalk in any direction, so you don’t feel safe when you need to get somewhere. It is not the fault of the hotel, but it is important to mention.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ambeli apartments. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated all the added extras, especially the home baked cake, it was delicious! Thank you! The complimentary breakfast was an unexpected extra and was also delicious. We really enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and our son loved the pancakes and pastries. The apartments are well located to explore Santorini. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the beach are a short walk away and the bus stop is just outside the apartments if you want to go further afield. We hired a car to explore the island as we like to find the quieter places. The apartments and pool area are very clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend a stay at Ambeli apartments. I have been to many places but I have never ever experienced such a wonderful and outstanding service!! Sofia and Maria were truly unbelievable!! Such a thoughtful and caring hosts! They were constantly helping us and providing the best holiday experience one could ever have. We felt like at home, thanks to them and the kindness and happiness they were spreading nonstop! A place that I would recommend a million times!! The view, the location is also outstanding, all the staff is very friendly and smiley. The breakfast is very delicious, the apartment is clean and they are taking care of your comforts continuously, which is also contributing to having a pleasant stay. Our hosts helped us with the car rental as well, for what we are very grateful because we had an amazing journey during our roadtrip on the island.

We really enjoyed our family vacation here. The place is in the south of Santorini, in a quiet area, very calm, and very few tourist crowds (that is a bonus if traveling with kids). The host, Maria Flora was amazing, she took care of us over the whole stay, and we felt like visiting a friend. All problems were solved immediately, plus an unexpected bonus of 4pm rose wine by the pool. The rest of the stuff is also friendly. The rooms are very clean and the sheets were changed regularly. There was a small kitchen with fridge/two electric stove burners/pans/cutlery. It is very handy if once you want to cook something for yourself or a kid. + AC/TV. The pool is very clean and open till 22, with plenty of sunbeds around. It has a changing depth, from shallow to more deep. The shallow part was just a bit too deep for our 3-year-old (should be ok for 4), but we used floaters and he enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, there were some local dishes and fresh bread/eggs two ways/coffee. The beaches are 10 mins walk from the apartment with many nice restaurants/bars/clubs. If you have a car, you can explore sunset places around (Caramela bar, all southeast part of the island), and moon-like Vlichada beach. The Emporio village nearby is amazing, walking in the maze of narrow streets. Or just enjoy a lazy day by the pool :) In summary, we had an amazing vacation and recommend this place if you want to have calm place while exploring the island.

The property is just ideal for a family vacation. It’s right sized, clean and comfortable, ideally located close to one of our favourite beach and away from the chaos of Oia. What made the property spectacular was the people who run the space, they were all top notch, they made every single moment of our holiday enjoyable and comfortable. Special shout out to Sofia for being amazing and an instant problem solver with a kind heart, Maria for being a super star with the best attitude and Paulina for supporting us throughout. Every step of the way they went over and above to make our stay so comfortable. They made our whole holiday experience in Santorini one we will remember a lifetime.
