Absolutely everything - the amazing staff (lovely Keriane made us feel so welcome, even booking ferry tickets for us so that we could day trip to îles Saintes and checking in with us to see that we had had a nice time), the variety of yummy food at breakfast, the delicious food, the beautiful views from the terrace and restaurant overlooking the sea and cliffs, the private beach, the impeccable service and cleanliness of the place, the smiling staff, the excellent facilities - this was a dream holiday! Thank you, La Toubana, for making this trip so special!

Nothing - it was all amazing

Beautiful place with spectacular view and great service

There is a smell in the bungalows that really isn’t pleasant and is often mentioned in the comments. They need to find a way to take care of that because it’s not charming at all when you come in everyday. Also the presence of some bugs and creatures was a bit of a turn off but somewhat normal in a jungle-like setting.

The hotel was excellent throughout and was situated in a superb location with its own beach area. The staff were very helpful and always willing to help with any requests. Although the staff mainly spoke French there was always an English speaking person on hand to help when needed.

There was nothing at all to dislike.

Breakfast was outstanding. A lot of choice and everything was fresh and delicious. The private beach came with very large comfortable loungers. The staff were very attentive as well. Our oceanview room with a large balcony overlooked the beach as well. One of the best hotels we've stayed at on vacation.

The hotel was situated on a hill so to get to the beach was a steep walk down. The umbrellas on the beach were very difficult to move. The staff did their best but it was still cumbersome when you needed to move it during the day.

This place is special. We had an exquisite bungalow with a sea view. Impeccable decor, all of the things you need and lovely terrace to chill in. Outside of the private areas, the pool and beachside are to die for. Service very good. The breakfasts are a force to be reckoned with. We loved eating dinner down at the beach bar. The concierge service was great. And although no late check out, showers are available so that you can still enjoy the hotel until the last moment. We loved all of the little touches, too like the note in our room on arrival or the biscuits at reception. We cannot wait to come back.

Nothing-perfect stay

Food amazing - service impeccable - beautiful views and great having a private sandy beach with beach bar and plenty of sun-loungers. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

Nothing - everything just perfect

Beautiful hotel, on the hill with spectacular views. Our bungalow had its own little private pool and a very private huge garden on the hill. Waking up, we had the view of the sunrise and the ocean from above. The private beach below is small but really beautiful, with comfy beds all over and great food/snacks/drinks.

Our room had a weird smell, which seems to have been a known issue specifically to our bungalow. But they were really nice about it. They gave us some perfume and a free late checkout which we needed.

The views from the restaurant are beautiful and the beach bar is gorgeous. A great place to relax and enjoy coastal Guadeloupe. The bar service was great and the daily breakfast was a nice touch.

On the weekend there were a lot of babies/kids running around and crying. Nothing the hotel can do but maybe given the high end nature of the hotel it could be baby free

This was our second time staying in La Toubana (bungalow with Sea view) and it was, as always, exceptional. The hotel photos do not do justice to how amazing this place is.
