I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The manager, Cesar, was beyond helpful, going out of his way on multiple occasions to help us or make our lives easier there. A really nice guy who spoke many languages and helped translate. He always made you feel like you were his priority. Saying that, all the staff were lovely and always helpful. The breakfast is amazing - a spread of cooked options, pastries, cereals, juices, freshly made to order crepes, cakes, breads and spreads, fruit… and the list really does go on. The hotel was spotlessly clean in every room. The pool and outside area is beautiful and you can get drinks and food ordered to your sun lounger. We enjoyed our time spent at this hotel a lot. Hotel is really nice and well organized. The hotel has a new manager who clearly really cares about his employees/customers. From what I've seen, this is the best hotel you can find in Guinea-Bissau. The manager and staff organized a tour guide that also works at the hotel. Alfa spoke perfect English and also went above and beyond and helped me out to reach my next destination! (Thanks Alfa!)

Everything went smoothly. Just know that Guinea-Bissau does not have a lot of English speakers but you can easily get by with the staff with basic French/Portuguese/Spanish and Google Translate if all else fails

Perfect stay at the Ceiba hotel! The hotel was clean, modern with a moderately sized room and good sized bathroom. The room had Ac, TV, iron and a fridge. The hotel had a nice gym with a good selection of machines and weights in a modern building overlooking the pool which also had AC. The pool area was very nice and modern complimented by palms trees to give it a tropical, beach feel. The restaurant food and service was amazing, all the food was very high quality fresh and cooked to perfection. Also the service was very efficient. The hotel has underground parking which is easily accessible via the lifts. The staff at the hotel very helpful although English speakers may struggle if you don’t have a second language. The staff mostly Portuguese or French but having Spanish or Italian will be sufficient to get by.

The property stated that they offered many services such as ‘car washing’ however this was not available to us when we inquired.

The location and premises found to meet my expectations. Friendly staff are happy to assist you when needed. However, one minor thing that very few people do speak English. I would expect as international hotel more people would be speaking English.

All seems to be what would be expected. Hotel staff friendly and willing to assist you in case of need. One thing would point out that only few people speak English which would help to understand better each other.

Very good business hotel in Bissau: clean, well equipped, professional. A haven of tranquility after a day out in the field in beautiful but humid and warm Guinea Bissau.

Speed of service: preparation of a pizza takes almost an hour, a pancake for breakfast at least half an hour. Take it easy and slow is a necessity.

The location of the hotel and the facilities for business meetings and even conference. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed expected in this region.

The breakfast was good, however, the food supposed to be hot could be expected to hot but not cold. I have requested to make a sunny side up eggs and got fully fried.

The staff were fantastic, especially the general manager who took time to make sure we got a taxi despite the president of Sudan arriving at the hotel and the roads all closed by the police & military. The pool area is beautifully designed. Great hotel!

The location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is very good, many choices. But the staff in the hotel are really wonderful, very helpful and always with smiling faces. Specially a lady called Binta explained all questions when answering. Nothing too difficult for her.

Everything is fine - location on the main street (where the carnival goes on), hospitality, cleanliness, a lot of comfortable furniture in the room. There are a nice pool and a pool bar. Breakfast is tasteful starting early at 7 a.m.
