A friendly young man assisted when my friend locked himself out of his room, no problem. Within a few minutes access was gained again. Homavik only had 1 option to get vegetarian food as most places were either closed or not operating for winter, even places within an hours drive had none. But the service station had two minute noodle type of options. Finna, has basic accommodation with a small boiling jug to each room and some teas and coffee in the main kitchen. Well presented and the house cat serving some attention

Room quite small, don't bring a big bag for rest it's more the town that does not have to 9ffer much. The witchcraft museum does attract visitors.

The summer staff are amazing humans. We didn't have a working phone and we got a flat tire in a remote area and they were very gracious and super helpful while we stressed out and tried to figure out what to do about our car. They made an awful experience so much better. The breakfast was delicious and filling and we enjoyed chatting with other guests. The private bath was small, but a nice perk. It's in a beautiful part of the country.

The rooms are bright in the summer...black out curtains would be a nice addition to the room....but not a deal breaker for us. We would stay here again.

I was lucky that I was upgraded from a single to a double room (and I didn't aks! Just by pure kindness :D ). The room was big, cozy, warm and with stunning view of the fjord. They were renovating (looking good!), but there was no noise - it was a quiet stay. Kettle and coffee machine were in the room. The room had a big window looking over the town, the fjord and the sunrise.

There was nowhere to hung my jacket, but the room was big so I adapted.

Really friendly hotel in the small town of Homavik. Nice pizza restaurant close by. Breakfast at Finna was better than most, as they offered and cooked bacon and eggs to order, which was a first for us in Iceland. Would stay again as the staff made the effort to help. If you can get an Ocean view like we were lucky enough to, even better, especially if you spot a Whale.

The persons working there were extremely friendly and helpfull, specialy the lady from Belarusse, she would get 20 points out of 10!!!! Thanks for being so positive!

The price is out of space, for that price you will get a 5 star hotel in Switzerland or most places in Europe, and here you have a very very simple room with a bathroom that is so narrow that you cannot even change your mind in there

It was clean, bed was comfortable, friendly staff, nice breakfast area with great views of the water, close to a great restaurant called Cafe Riis. Small European size bathroom and towels could use some fabric softener.

No place to put/hang anything except 2 hooks in the room. Our room had no nightstands

The breakfast was a standout, with a great variety and fresh, tasty options. Most notably, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my stay truly enjoyable.

However, the soundproofing left much to be desired. Noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway was easily audible, which disrupted what could have been a more restful stay.

The best thing was the wonderful welcome we received from the two hotel managers who were so friendly, gave us good advice on places to visit, cooked us individual breakfasts with eggs to our exact liking and generally made sure we had a wonderful stay. Thank you! Also, fantastic sea views!

Very friendly/helpful staff, very tasty breakfast, awesome location

The walls were a little thin- anytime someone else closed a door it sounded very loud in the room. Most of this noise was muffled by wearing earplugs, however.

Our stay was excellent. Lady on reception made an early check in and free upgrade to room with perfect sea view for us, everything was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. Place was very quiet and perfect to enjoy.
