Amazing location. Our room had, I think, the best view of any we have ever stayed in - out onto the surrounding fields - and with a small balcony too. The swimming pool is a good size, with, again, an incredible view when you are standing or seated around it. We took advantage of the free bike hire and it was a wonderful experience cycling along the local lanes; everybody is so friendly too. We stayed for 3 nights and would happily have stayed longer if we could have.

The food is really not great. There was only a buffet available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Any dishes including meat (mutton or chicken) seemed to use the cheapest cuts possible. Although we saw a menu a couple of times we couldn't order from this and were pointed to the buffet. I don't know if this is because they were particularly busy, but for especially for the price it was way below what you would expect in quality terms. Had we paid 1/4 of the price it would still have been "not good".

The location is in the middle of Village. Not much to do if u go outside the fort on foot. But once you are inside hospitality and feel is great.

Very good service and very good and well maintained property. Staff very extremely polite, prompt and very accommodating. Food was also good and tasty. The buffet was good and so was the quantity of dishes ordered ala carte. The rooms were also clean and decently spacious. Israil Khan at reception, the manager Mr. Narayan Baral, Mr. Chattar Singh and even the Chef very all very polite and provided excellent service. Our request for some local dishes in buffet menu were also accomodated. All in all a good stay with very good facilities and services. Definitely recommend for 2/3 nights.

If have to be critical..the only thing I feel can be improved is the mattress on the bed which was springy and not comfortable for my back. Otherwise everything top class.

A smaller fort in comparison but makes up for it with large-heartedness. What stands out is simply the smiles and politeness of the staff and their going out of the way to make my stay pleasant. The fort looks over vast expanses of agricultural land dotted with hillocks. When you look about from the vantage point of the fort, you feel like a king surveying his kingdom. And the buffet lunch was unlike the disappointments I have suffered at other palaces and forts.. it was finger licking delicious with a vast array of dishes. I will keep coming here for sure. It will be like returning home. That's the feeling, thanks to the staff!

Perfection cannot be perfected further.

The property is nestled between vast fields and provides a lovely view of the landscapes. It totally gives you a glimpse and feel of the olden times and a slower pace of life. The rooms aren’t all that big but provide a cozy and comfortable environment and are good enough for a night’s stay. The pool and adjoining area is the highlight of the property.

A few more family activities or games and sporting equipment could be included in the stay as there isn’t much to do around in the evening. The gym could also use a few upgrades.

Absolutely everything. I was very impressed by the upkeep of the facility. Understanding what effort is required to maintain such a facility that is some 700 years old, the management team is doing a fabulous job. Food quality was just awesome. Review would be incomplete if I don't mention about the chef, Mr. Ram Kumar. I ordered Local delicay, Dal Bati, Choorma....and it was as good as it can be. Great going ..... Please continue the good work of maintaining the traditional values.

The location is very peaceful surrounded by lush green fields in one side and a lookout of village on the other.The facilities given are also good as u have a recreational common room with games television and sitting and a gym and tt table also present (at a different location) Swimming pool looks good though as it was winters we could not go there(my suggestion make it a heated pool and it can be a usp for winters)The staff was courteous enough to look after our needs specially narain singh ji.The room has all basic amenities geyser air conditioning heater for winters good linen and a mini bar and a bathroom with all necessary toiletries and hair dryer to be precise. The food was also good would not say it was superbly delicious but the have everything on d plate and many things actually taste good.The breakfast section also mostly covers everything which is good for stay here.

The only downside is the terrain here in the fort as lot of walking has to be done specially for elderly with knee issues it's a Lil difficult to navigate here. Its definitely a weekend stay worthy and ticks mostly all boxes but not more than 2 nights here as deres nothing else to do other than the fort mostly..

Hill fort is exactly what you can hope for a perfect getaway. Great food, polite and friendly staff. Sunsets are mesmerising. Sipping on coffee and looking at the green agri fields with mountains on the horizon was well worth it. Narayan singh the estate manager was very nice and warm to talk to. A shout to Mr Amar Upadhyay at the recpetion, he helped us in postponing our trip by a week as we had an emergency. There were absolutely no hassles and it took just one phone call and an email to rearrange our dates. Will definetly visit again.

The property is an enchanting old fortress with breathtaking views. The Neemrana group has done an excellent job of restoring it and bringing it back to life. The staff is delightful and ever willing to assist. Mr. Narayan who was managing the dining area was particularly attentive, was taking time to talk to all of the guests and making sure that everyone was comfortable.

The place was rustic and ancient as expected, yet was fitted with all modern conveniences…perfect for a relaxing getaway for the weekend in the cool season….within 2 hr driving distance on the new super quality highway….food buffet in all meals had all the varieties of both indian, local rajasthani and western cuisine, tasty and on local spice level….staff were attentive, cordial, room service was super prompt, rooms were exactly like the picture on website, washrooms were very clean….overall super experience for short getaway

No TVs in the room….wifi after sometime because of limited banwidth as we used our quota up within an streaming movies…. airtel networked so we used our own hotspot….very little to do in the neighbourhood after you have explored the property…..wish there was some writeups besides the pictures or even a room detailing the history of the fort and families living there over centuries
