Warm Welcome from the Owner - the true highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the people. From the very outset, Mr Subhash Anthawal, the owner, extended a genuine sense of welcome as soon as the booking was made. His wealth of knowledge and deep passion were evident throughout our visit, as was his religious devotion. Mr Anthawal possesses a thorough understanding of the local area and took the time to describe the renowned points visible from the 180-degree viewpoint on several occasions, ensuring that we were well-informed and could fully appreciate our surroundings. Attentive and Friendly Staff - equally, the other members of staff stood out for their friendliness, helpfulness, and attentiveness. Every interaction contributed to a sense of genuine hospitality and care. Serene Atmosphere and Comfort - the cottage or hotel itself offered a delightful, tranquil atmosphere complemented by stunning views. The rooms were immaculately clean, with special mention for the exceptionally comfortable mattress and spotless bathroom facilities. These details made the accommodation feel like a true home away from home. Impeccable Attention to Detail - from the owner through to every member of staff, the dedication to comfort and meticulous attention to detail left a lasting impression. Location! Location! Location! One cannot beat the location, they have the entire view of Panch Kedar range and Badrinath. Fabulous location, secluded and absolutely pleasant staff with an equally hospitable host (Subhash Anthwal). They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. It is a little away from the congested town of Guptkashi. The food is simple, tasty, rustic and lip-smacking wholesome goodness.

Its basic, though the owner is making some changes and we wish and hope to go back. The rustic charm of Garhwal himalayas combined with the simplicity and warmth of the local folks makes it a welcome change from grubbiness of city life.

The hotel has a lovely serene atmosphere and view. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Clean rooms and toilet. Owner Mr Subhash Anthawal ji made us felt welcome right from the time we made the booking. Overall this hotel felt like a natural home away from home. I was so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail right from the owner to the staff. My stay here was just perfect.

Beautiful location. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Clean and hygienic stay with all basic amenities. The food was good.

The only issue we faced was accessibility to the place as the road is under construction.

The location is not as described on bookings.com. It is approximately 7 to 8 Kilometers from the highway. The road is quite steep and has many hair pin bends. The ride up to the hotel was very scary. The location is very remote.
