Great location, by the Ganges. Loved the large rooms. The verandah corridoor in front of the rooms was my favorite place to see the river and the people. Food was excellent. Staff are friendly.

Unfortunately, the parking is a bit far away-for normal people it is fine but for elderly people during heavy rain and with luggage it is a huge challenge. The hotel did provide one wheel chair for my mom and a helper to assist with the luggage but to do this whole process everytime you go somewhere (temples etc) gets tedious. Wish the hotel had let us know this before reserving. We got a message form the day before our travel and at that point there wasn't anything we could do.

Amazing building in unbeatable location. Rooms are big and comfi. Ganges view is amazing, location is 5 mins walk from aarti. Food in rooftop restaurant is the best we’ve had on our India travels. Good staff

The rooms do not have an outside facing window (they face the corridor) so there is not much fresh air coming in. We wanted to sleep in a cold room which was not possible as the windows were facing the hallway (and a/c did not work as it was winter) Rooms 207 and 208 get super loud in the morning due to vicinity to the breakfast room

It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay for us in The Ganga Lahiri Hotel. The staff’s behaviour was very polite, professional and hospitable. Rooms were nice, the food was good, fresh and tasty. Mr. Krishna Negi the operations manager at reception, Mr. Kailash at the dinner venue The Patio and Mr. Rajesh at breakfast venue Annapurna were good & exceptional in their services which made our stay very comfortable. Thanks for such a great service and hospitality.

The rooftop restaurant with live music and an awesome view of delicious food, very professional staff. The rooms are spacious and clean., They welcome you so nicely with refreshments. The live bhajan in the evening is so soothing and the live flute during breakfast is heartwarming. You can see from the hotel windows all happening at Ganga is amazing.

Vehicles can't go up to the doorstep. Need to walk through the bridge to reach the hotel.

Hospitality - I will return just for that. Impressive. Breakfast Buffet - a varied and good spread. Amenities - Spa/ayurvedic massage was expertly done. Location - right by the river.

The area right in front of the hotel could be kept cleaner. It's a public space but some attempt or push for cleanliness is desirable.

It is located right on the banks of Ganga Ji, in the middle of the bustling market, close to Hari ki Pauri and Ganaga Aarti. It is an excellent location. Lovely view of flowing Ganaga with option to take a dip in it right in front of the hotel.

Access to the hotel by vehicle is physically not possible

Breakfast was very good the staff were keen to please. The man at the front door was very sweet. Staff were mostly friendly. The pool was clean and refreshing.

We had trouble with the hot water in the showers in both rooms both nights. The hot water just got hotter and hotter we couldn't get cold water at all. Quite dangerous with small children but nothing was followed up on at all.

The ganga lahari is an excellent hotel right at the Ganga Matha. The service was excellent from Krishna. He made sure that we arrived and were looked after. We were a group of 17 and when we arrived it was raining heavily. We had parked some way from the hotel and we were sent Lahari staff to help with our many pieces of luggage and also were thoughtful and brought umbrellas for us. Our rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the hotel had entertainment that was tasteful flute player, traditional song singers and also a rooftop terrace which was not a disappointment at all and the online pictures do not do it justice. A beautiful view of the hills and mountains and of Ganga Matha. The food was excellent with a high tea, evening meal and buffet breakfast. Compliments to the Lahari chefs as the selection of dishes were freshly cooked and so tasty. We would like to recognise our two fantastic waiters Kalaish and Suraj who were so professional and had superb manners. They were tentative and anything we asked for was no trouble at all. They are a credit to Ganga Lahari - two members of staff that are excellent. We will definitely recommend and visit Ganga Lahari again. Thank you for a fab stay xxx

There was nothing that we didn't like about Ganga Lahari it's an excellent hotel which has kind, polite and professional team of staff.

Unbeatable location. It is almost unbelievable how the extreme street rush stops in a second you enter the hotel. I've never experienced something like this. You are in the middle of Haridvar's world right in front of the Ganga river that can be endlessly watched from halls grand windows of rooftop terrace with restaurant. Brilliant relaxing place. Rooms were above our expectations, large, spotless clean, comfortable beds, well equipped, perfect bathroom. Cuisine is delicious. Hotel offers several entertaining programmes - top of them is the evening visit to "arti" which is Hindus main Ganga worshipping event. Do not miss it as it is a one in life experience! Hotel's staff were hospitable, very good porters that carried our luggage to taxi that can park only across the main bridge. Thanks to Lucky and his colleagues for helping us with information about the area and enabling us to have shower even few hours after check out.

You cannot reach the hotel's door by taxi as it is sittuated in the extremely busy part of city. You have to call the reception to send movers across the bridge where the taxi parking takes place. But it is just information, not something what was problem for my family.
